Does anyone heard anything about Octo Browser marketed as a tool for affiliate marketing? Is it safe, who is the creator?
Hey Kirill,
If Octo was all that great of a tool for affiliate marketing, you can bet that Kyle would have included it in the training.
Just my take on this...
Hope you find this helpful.
It's pretty pointless, they're charging a fee for something you can do for free with a browser extension. It's also owned by a Russian company, so I'd avoid it - don't want to be giving them any data at the moment.

Hello, WA experts,
I've found myself in a weird situation. My domain, that I've registered in 2011 missed a yearly renewal payment and it's offline now. The new owner of it
Do you have a back up of your work? Because if not then you need to start over from scratch.
You can go here
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains
And find it it is still available you may purchase again.
If taken already, and not for sale you need get creative and find a new domain.
If for sale you need negotiate the price with the new owner.
Hey Kirill,
If it is JUST the domain name that GoDaddy is offering to broker back to you, then unless you've spent countless hours connecting that domain to far too many other sites to even remember (which you should ALWAYS keep a spreadsheet of those links, plus there are EASY ways to fix that issue too), or you've spent thousands of dollars advertising that domain name, I doubt it would be worth retrieving, unless, of course, GoDaddy was able to get it back for you for zero dollars.
But... that is a personal choice that you will need to make.
As long as you have a backup file of the site that you are referring to, you could always import your content into another domain.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you, Trish.
WA Support team has confirmed that they've got a copy of my site, so reattaching the new domain is not a problem.
The only thing that makes me hesitate is that my site is 11 years old, it's well aged and, though I didn't have millions of customers, it's been active.
Also, considering registering the new domain, what is better- change a letter in the domain name or change .com to the different zone- .net, .org?
Thank you.
Searching for a relevant name is always advisable. Sticking with the dot com domains, is also still advisable.
I was going to suggest...
If you still want to get the other domain back, you might consider seeking out a law firm to help you probono. You won't know for certain until you ask them.
Until I read your response to George. If $69.99 is all that is being asked for, I'd pay it and then NEVER EVER use GoDaddy again.
Call it a graduation gift. You know... the cost of learning what hosting services to trust.
But then... that's me.
Thank you for your suggestions. I used to consider Godaddy as a reliable and respectful company, the lesson is learned.
The $70 is just a broker's fee. I have no idea how much would a new owner will ask for it. Plus 20% of the final price goes to broker again. No reason for them to go too cheap.
I tried to contact the new owner's company directly with no response. Are things like this done directly at all? Are there independent domain brokers in this field? I understand it's hard to know to those who are not in this business.
If the $70 is ONLY the broker's fee, then I would suggest that the new owners bought your domain due to the age of it, and therefore would want THOUSANDS to part with it... if they would even consider doing so.
If you're serious about building an online business, you'll see that the yearly fees (or longer) not only save you money but also prevent such a thing as you've suffered from... once you deal with a reputable web hosting provider.
Are you saying that you missed one year's payment and after that kept paying? Do you have proof that your other payments for your domain name were made?
Are you saying that if you pay $69.99 for the domain it is yours with all of your preexisting content?
No. My payment has lapsed in 05/22. My monthly payments keep being processed for the different services.
$69.99 is the broker's fee applied regardless the result. The price for the domain has to be called by current owner of it.
If site support would restore your site to a "new domain name" how can you prove to search engines you are the owner of he content.
You can redirect your old content to a new domain name .I think I would choose something different and stick with a dot com.
Well, I suppose, the domain name and the site content are different things, as much as my knowledge goes. may be I'm wrong?
But I've had my site under my membership on WA servers and, unless somebody has taken my membership over, I'm still the owner of the content stored on those servers.
Is it becoming a legal issue?
Did you say someone else owns your old website now.
If no one owns it and it is being brokered then since site support has a backup and you have verified google analytics and search console tools it may actually work to restore it to a new domain name..
Yes, your domain name is not how your site is ranking.
Another thing to check is your backlinks to your old site. Do you have a lot of them. Those sites will have to link to your new domain name. You might be able to contact them and let them know you have a new domain name address.

I've local version of the website, I would like to transfer to WA hosting. My questions is how to upload .sql file because seems like you don't have php my admin panel, or any
The problem is I need to get access to MySQL and change DNS from another website, so basically I can't do it via FTP. Thank you for your reply. I will definitely contact customer service.
Have you tried FTP? You can get help from Site support. They require you to choose a website. If don’t have one, then create a sub domain for it. Then you can use it as a testing ground.

Hi, everyone,
Today I've taken a look at my Google Analytics after some while and was shocked to find an unknown page in the list of pages visited-
/?s=Koran+classes+for+
I know this question is old and you may have an answer, AND I'm just guessing, but that looks like the resulting URL for a search that was performed on your site. As in someone visited your site and used the search function to look for "Koran classes for competition killer". Why they would do that, I don't know. If that is what happened, I don't know. But it's the best guess I've got.
The main thing that surprises me in this scenario is how that search might have landed at my site? There's nothing related to any part of the search term throughout the entire site.
Could just be someone being a pain the... Again, I'm not even sure that's what it is. The only reason I guessed that was the ? suggesting a query result.

Thank you, David. But what I've meant, it wasn't a visit from that page, it was a visit of this page ON MY SITE. I fight fake visits more or less successfully, but what bothers me is that apparently, this page is off the root of my own site and it's getting visits, while I can't access it!
I see. Probably from a bad plugin or theme developer. I have had that problem before. Was a bad theme.
David
Might be, I'm not all too familiar with that. The question that bothers me now- what to do with that and how people, who visit this page know about it and how they access it.
Thank you, Mike! But as I've mentioned in the reply below, it isn't a visit FROM that site, it's a visit of the hidden(?) page ON my site.
My niche is an online marketing (yoursmartincomesource.com) and it's hardly connected to any religious niche.
Looks spooky to me.
Kirill.

I agree with Dale here and I noticed the same too.
