Go back to Appearance > Menus and you'll see there are two tabs at the top, Edit Menus and Manage Locations. If you switch to Manage Locations you can then "assign" the menu you created. :) Rich.

However, as Thomas has already pointed you to - I'd setup GMAIL to send/receive all your emails - then it's all in one place - and it is very good at dealing with spam too! I've also seen Kyle post about him managing his email accounts all through GMAIL.
