My Name Is Franco. I live in Ocoee, Florida which is about 5 miles outside Orlando. I am a Drummer / Singer in a local classic rock band. I also have an associates degree in Computer Science. I'm new here to Wealthy Affiliate and eager to learn and grow an online business.

Thank you so much. Coincedentally, right now I DO feel overwhelmed, fed up, & needing a boost of confidence. I have a lot of unexpected obstacles that are taking all my time away from training . I have been a member for almost 3 months now & can't find the time to finish training so I can get my website monetized. I am not a quitter, but I feel so overwhelmed with family & financial struggles that the mountain I'm trying to climb seems too steep & too high.

I can certainly help you with that. I also had family and financial problems while trying to build a business. I don't know how much you want to share here bc it is all public, there does not seem to be a private message option.
The #1 reason people feel overwhelmed is because they have no handle on what they really have to do. This is old fashioned but works like a charm. Get yourself a little notebook with the rings on the top, the tiny ones that fit in your pocket and write down everything you have to do, and every-time something comes up just record it. The first thing is that when you actually write it NOT ON COMPUTER- your brain acknowledges the task, second of all you gain confidence bc you know that nothing will fall between the tracks.
The #2 thing to do to begin with is have an old fashioned written agends, pocket sized works, and at the beginning of each day, or at end of evening, make a list of 3 things you must accomplish the next day. ONLY 3. Why bc we really cannot do more than that and whatever more you get done is a bonus! You will gain a lot of confidence as you have more and more days hitting your goals.
Then at the end of the evening, mark down the 3 things you want to accomplish tomorrow.
#3 Baby Steps: Take your major tasks and break them down into the smallest size you can, list every baby step and then just do a baby step, forget the big picture, baby steps, bc if you have a plan and a strategy to get there, then every time you take baby steps the final goal will take care of itself and you will feel confident in your achievements not dissapointed in how far you have to go.

I don't mind you posting this message as long as my identity is kept private. I should clarify that most of my frustration is because I have a daughter with ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) on top of that she has anger issues so when she has a melt down, it pulls me away from time I would normally use to train or build my website out. I also work a night shift 3:30pm-11:00pm which is also on the computer all day. and my wife works days so we pas eachother coming & going to work. so she tries to get the sames days off as I do which means she wants to spend that time with mewhich again pulls me away from training & website building. by the time I get home at 11;45pm. I'm too tired to get on the computer and train.

your welcome. my only advice is follow the training STEP by STEP. Dont try to skip ahead. it takes time to buils a good quality website and even more time to build a business. rome wasn't built in a day. also dont be afraid to ask questions in live chat for instant help.

Hi Franco, I've only been here since the middle of Jan, so about a month. The first thing I decided to do was follow the training step by step all the way through no matter how long it takes.
I went to look at your site. Like it or not as part of WA you're now an affiliate marketer. At least put a banner to your WA affiliate site in the right hand column.
To do this click on the Jet at the top of your site then click on banners. Better yet click on rank and find Marion Black at #8. Click on her picture to get to her site. In the right column is a video on how to add a banner to a site widget.
Write about what you love, but think about how you can turn that love into a business. Maybe you need to find a wholesale place to acquire vintage guitars. then tell stories about them and sell them from your site at a profit.
I think the idea is to turn what you love into a profitable business. I have several retail sites through Share A Sale. On average I earn around 20% on anything sold through these sites. They may have something in music that you could start with.
This is a journey, and I don't believe my site will look anything like it does today in 20 years. Believe, grow, change, and become who you were meant to be. Good Luck, Dave

1) I encourage every follower to regularly post a blog with WORTHY content to other WAers. Obviously, if you blog once a day your ranking will quickly move up in WA. However, please understand that I only blog approximately once every two weeks and in the back of my mind I am only blogging to my followers in an attempt to provide the best example (of my writing skills) that I can. Why! Your website will only be successful if you post quality pieces to it. Frequently, that requires that you learn to write even better than you do now.
2) I try to HELP my followers every time they run into a snag with their websites to the best of my ability. If that is not good enough, I will refer you to other HELPERS at WA that will definitely be able to help you. So if you run into a problem here at WA, please let me try to assist you.
Please remember that Kyle, Carson, you and me are not WA. WA is thousands of students learning the concepts of e-commerce and the hundreds of WAers that learn to blog regularly for the delight of the community as they attempt to hone their various writing skills.

Ty. I'm posing a question right now to the community. I am now at the point where I am starting to write content for my website http://leftymusicalinstruments.com. which will basically be an affiliate music store for Lefthanded musicians. I need some ideas from my WA community. should I create a famous Lefty musician page to list some famous Lefty musicians, or explain the difference between lefty & Righty instruments?

Explaining the difference between left and right handed when it comes to musical instruments would be very interesting to be honest I don't know what is the difference my kid tends to use his left hand more than the right so it would be nice if I can tell him when he asks me one day why can't he play the same instrument than a right handed person

Hi Franco how are you? How did you figure out you were meant for music, that it was something you wanted to do? I have two little kids the oldes is 3 year old and he loves playing with his little guitar I know he is only three but I don't want to let a talent pass him with out trying to develop it you know what I am sayin? The world is full of un noticed talent, music, sports, speakers and so on, parents don't see the potential kids have ( some actually do cannot say every body) for some reason they just let talents hibernate, I want to be able to look for things in my kids things that can help me help them develop their talents

i knew I was meant to play music at age 5. I remember vivdly being in my Kindergarden class. My Teacher had us singing row row row your boat, but I was singing "Hey Jude" by The Beatles" The teacher thought I was being funny so for punishment she made me stand in front of the class & sing it for the class. Little did she know I was only too happy to sing The beatles. at that point is when my musical career began. my advice to you is to encourage anything your kids show passion for. As long as it's legal & not a danger to them or anyone else. My parents encouraged my music & you know what. I stayed home & out of trouble.
