Why Do Some People Succeed And Some People Fail ?
What make a person successful at what they do ?
This is a question that i have spent a lot of time trying to work out, i have studied lots of successful people who have made there millions from the ideas that they have created and one thing they all seem to have in common is that they have never given up with what they are trying to achieve.
Men do not fail; they give up trying.
Failure is not an option, if you sign up to be a member at wealthy affiliate and you start the training but then life gets in the way and you forget about it, then you are never going to achieve the goals that you have set for yourself.
One of the main reasons that people fail or give up is that they are not very good at managing their time, to be successful at whatever you put you mind to you have to commit some of your valuable time to the goals that you are trying to reach.
We all have the same amount of time as everyone else in the world, we all have 24hrs in our days but some of us are very good at using that time to reach our goals of financial freedom.
What i would like you all to do is to commit to spending at least 1 or 2 hrs a day for at least 5 days a week for the next month and see how far you can get, i am sure you will be surprised at how much you all can achieve.
All the best,
Mark.

You are so right, sometimes I get a reply on something, which I do not remember that I wrote it, and when I see the date, my reply is from 5 weeks ago, and then I think, I don't think you are going to be successful
You are probably right with what you are saying Loes, or it will take them decades to reach there goals.
Awesome post! Despite being really busy at the moment, I'm going to try and spend at least 1 hour every day on my website :)
If you can learn to manage your time better you will get to where you want to be sooner, I had the same problem as I used to watch too much tv and kept putting things off thinking I will get them tomorrow. But you have to be strict with your time to make the change.
OMG, I have been creating videos to post on to my site. Youtube has so many really cool thumbnails everywhere that are really hard to resist, you think you are only going to check out one that looks so cool you can't resist, next think you know you have wasted hours following one really cool thumbnail after another.
Mark that is a great post my friend.
I agree that time management is one of the keys to
many successes. It is not alone there is, Commitment,
consistency, perseverance, a big why, also important.
Just my thought. 1 or 2 hours a day pays big dividends. :-)
You are so true Ken. Time management is only part of the problem, but is you can sort out this issue I believe the rest will follow.
Certainly a great place to start Mark
If you do not manage your time it will
manage you. That is never good. ;-)
I think the problem is when people do not see results right away they get discouraged and quit. Your right, sticking with it and putting at least 1-2 hrs in every day is a good way to still get things done and not burn out.
That's is correct. Too many people are looking for instants results instead of planting the seed, watering it and watching it grow.
A brilliant subject. However, sometimes even with the best will in the world, life can sometimes pull you away from building a successful business. It happened to me last year and it was not possible to even spend an hour a day on building my business.
But, I am committed to this so here I am stronger than before. Setting achievable short term and long term goals plus working with a schedule that fits everything in on a day to day basis.
You never know where life can take you. It is important to always stay focused.
Lis.
I agree Lauren. My aim with this post is to get the people thinking who are just spending way too much time watching tv rather than building their future, I hope I did not offend you that was not my intention.
No, I wasn't offended. Sorry, I did not mean to come across like that. It is sometimes difficult to judge voice tone through text.
I was just saying that sometimes there are good reasons for not sticking to the plan and I agree that sitting watching tv is not very productive and not a good reason.
Lis :).
Hi Laurent, i didn't take offence to what you said i just wanted to make sure my intentions were clear.
You've got an excellent point, Mark.
I would add: If you're having problems reaching the goal, maybe you should look at your path. Some of the brightest lights here have failure stories to share.
If they just tried one thing, they might never have been success stories! Instead, they diversified - put their eggs in several baskets. Particularly, I'm thinking of nathaniel when I talk about this. I think Jay would say the same thing though. In fact, one of his broadcasts after getting out of the hospital centered on building a business with residual income and he talked about his many different endeavors - all added up - kept him earning, even when he could not work. Kinda neat!
I imagine they got started one basket at a time though. Focus is very important too :-)
Best wishes on your journey!
Eddie
The only way we learn is to make mistakes and fail a few time, I feel that I am a much better person from the failures that I have had.
You are absolutely right! It is that point in time when the 'newness' starts to wear off and WA seems to be just another 'thing' that people fall back....your suggestion is excellent!
Time management is the key to success, you are right when people first start they have all the best intentions in the world but then the excitement wears off and they just give in.

This question was the main subject of the second blog I wrote for WA, The 80 - 20 Rule In a nutshell the folks who make money, "They do all of the things we all know we’re supposed to do, but sometimes don’t."
"Find the people that are getting the results you want, read everything they’ve written or look at everything they’ve done. Success leaves tracks, follow them. Do what they’ve done to the best of your ability, today. Then tomorrow do it even better."

I like it Phil, i have always looked for successful people and tried to emulate what they are doing.
Much better than emulating unsuccessful people. ;^)
