Is the GeneratePress Theme Versatile?
No, this is not an ad.
Many Wealthy Affiliate members are using the GeneratePress theme. It's light-weight, versatile, highly customizable, and newbie-friendly.
But every website is different.
I'd like to use this post to demonstrate just how different websites can be even though they're using the same theme.
Will you help?
So this doesn't get flagged as "self-promotion" I'm not going to showcase my own websites here, you can find them listed on my profile page https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/marionblack
But I'd like very much to see what you have done with GeneratePress.
Please take a screenshot (or three) of your home page, blogroll, and/or a landing page on your own website that uses the GeneratePress theme. Then write a comment below and include your screenshots. Tell us if you're using the free or premium version of the theme and why you like using it.
What do you think of the GeneratePress theme? Share your screenshots below.

Hi Marion, I am using the Generate Press theme but I have not acquainted myself with the features that are supposed to come with it.
I have gone on their site for a tutorial but did not gain too much information.
Thank you for sharing this. Much appreciated.
All the best,
Michael
I may do some tutorials on GeneratePress premium on my YouTube channel when I have some free time. I've found Tom Usbourne's instructions on the GP site a little too technical for most of us.
Hi Marion, I will be looking forward to watching them. Would appreciate a heads up.
Thank you,
Michael
I bought GP premium during black Friday but sad to say, I have yet to use it because I find it a hassle to switch theme on my main website as I need to reconfigure the fonts, background colours, hover colours etc. But having said that, I think I saw in the Facebook GP group that people can do up very nice looking website. That might take some coding knowledge I believe..
I must admit I have added a bit of custom CSS but you can still get a nice looking website without going that far.
This is only my second Website so I can not Recommend it to you. I am using it be Jay Recommended in one of his classes. I forgot to crop it but it is the on on the left which is my 2nd screen. I do like it so far.
Best to you.
Edward
I have used GP Premium for about 3 years. I believe it could be a little more challenging for newbies compared to some other themes. However, once familiar with this theme it is excellent.
I would not consider changing to any other theme.
Screenshots are different versions of the same page.
Thanks, Brenda. It's good to receive your comment on the screenshot. I have been wondering whether to change the layout of this website but due to your kind words, I'll keep it as is.
I believe the GP Premium is great for everyone beyond the beginner stage. I'm sure you would gain considerable benefit from this theme now, Brenda.
If you're happy with your theme don't change it! It's too time-consuming changing themes when you don't need to.
That is fantastic news about teaching a class. A very special activity that no doubt will require much time and energy on your part. I wish you all the best.

Marion, it's good to hear from you...you've been absent for a while.
I use the premium version of GeneratePress...wanted to put all my websites on the same format. Not much good at screenshots, so will not send you the shots at this time. However, I do really like GeneratePress...took me a while to start using it, but now I'm sold. Also, if you have more than one website, there is value in using the same theme, because then you come to understand the ins and outs of it much better.
