Putting It All Together As One Single Marketing Blueprint

Since January 1st I have been working towards a goal, and mapping the steps I take so that I could create "Blueprints" to show others exactly what I am doing as a WA affiliate.

I have striven to make each blog post / lesson / tutorial as easy to understand as I can, not only so that members here could benefit from the instructions, but so that when I finally begin mentoring my own referrals, I will have something to easily direct them to, if they too wish to follow the same methods.

So without further ado, here is exactly how I have implemented everything for one single website that was created for one purpose only.

To increase my WA referrals, and hopefully make a bit of side income as I write about & review other affiliate programs.

First Step: I Created The Website

If you too wish to build a website to devote towards gaining more residual income, by referring others to here, then you can use site rubix to do this as well.

I did purchase a domain name for my website, and today I created a site rubix account that I will also be using concurrently with my main website.

I am running the two sites mainly so I can show subscribers to my mailing list, that it won't matter if they have their own domain name, or if they use site rubix, that the methods I share do work.

The niche my site is for, is of course, affiliate marketing.

Choose a Niche

Second Step: I Selected An Amazing Website Design

I selected a great theme for my website. I paid for a premium theme, but I will be creating a course this week that shows how to use a free theme that also looks just as fantastic.

I choose to purchase a theme because I wanted a red layout, for my own personal preferences, but the free theme I will be creating the course for, looks great as well.

The site has a "news" look, not so that it can report news, but so that it will look more authoritative and professional for the future reviews I intend to write.

Third Step: I Added Some Starter Content

I added some starter content, just so that I could see what the site will look like when fully functioning. I added 11 posts in 4 different categories. I then sat back and waited, and waited and waited for google to index my site.

Google finally did this, it took about 6 weeks to index this site after submission of my site map. I do not know why it took this long, nor do I care, so long as it gets indexed then I am happy.

Writing Your Content With Conversion Intent

Fourth Step: I Added WA Banners & Links To My Website

I used plugins to add my WA banners to my site, in certain locations. There is a horizontal banner in my header, a square banner in my sidebar and another horizontal banner is automatically placed after every 5th paragraph in every post that I write.

Three Wordpress Plugins That You Can Use To Promote Your Affiliate Programs

I also added a few choice keywords that get automatically linked with my WA affiliate link, for this I used the "Auto Affiliate Links" plugin.

Properly Using Affiliate Links

Fifth Step: Sassy Social Share

I added the sassy social share bar, and configured it to be added at the bottom of every post. I disabled the bar that displays on the side, so as not to clutter up the site too bad.

This plugin will play a very important role in the coming weeks.

Sixth Step: I Created My Landing Page & Started Building My Mailing List

I created my landing page for my mailing list, so that I could begin building my list. My mailing list is on a separate domain, with a very short URL.

My mailing list consists of 30 digital coaching sessions, where I walk subscribers through steps that they can follow, to increase their clickbank income. Of course the importance of operating a website is stressed throughout the 30-day sessions, with WA (site rubix) being the web host that I continuously recommend as the preferred web host of choice.

I also added my mailing list subscription form to my website.

Once subscribers join here at WA, then they will continue to receive the rest of the 30 days coaching sessions, but they will also begin receiving the WA campaign messages from here.

Seventh Step: I Begin Intensive Keyword Research Using Jaaxy

Over the next week, I will do some intense keyword research, using Jaaxy, so that I can begin adding content at the rate of one to two articles per day to the website, which up until now, has been sitting with the beefer content only.

Creating Keyword Rich Content

I have other things planned also, but these are the main things I intend to use, to promote my WA affiliate link.

If there are any other WA members who are desiring to promote their own WA affiliate links, following anything I have shared, could you comment below?

There are some other things I have planned, and I'd love to get some feedback about the types of courses or other training that others would like to see me create here.

Maria, you are doing a beautiful and logical creation of your site. However, my primary goal here is to create blogs and write, not to learn and delve into many of the design details you thrive on. And that's great for you! I've been a teacher in the past, but am not thrilled about becoming a WA instructor.
I guess I'm asking if some WA users simply focus on their niche, and I guess, subcontract the site's design? Certainly, there's great pride in such total understanding and site creation, but... Or, Is this topic itself sacrilegious discussion?

Dale, how you operate your business is totally up to you. You can do whatever you like, my posts are my way of sharing my own knowledge, with others who can and do benefit from my sharing.

You do not have to be a WA instructor here, you can simply blog and write, if that is your desire. It's your business, run it the way you wish.

In the past I have had others help me here, so this is my way of giving part of myself back into the community.

There are many many others who choose to do as you do (as I did for years myself), whom simply follow the training of the EOC and maybe watching a webinar or two, and they do very well.

There's no requirement for anyone to do anything here. That's the beauty of the system and the great thing about operating our own businesses, we can pick and choose exactly what we want to do :)

Great Maria! There are many paths to achieve WA success; that's very good news. Some say the "Eleventh Commandment" is "Thou shalt be flexible," and that applies at WA too!

Brilliant guide thank you for sharing.

Hi Maria. First let me say thank you for such a great project. You are an excellent course writer. I have done your "create a professional landing page". It was great too.Congratulation this is wonderful - I'm sure it will be popular. Jen

You are most welcome Jen, I also shared a post just now that explains again, why a short URL is important for your landing page.

I'll be sharing more information in a week or so, after I complete a couple of courses that show how to configure a few more themes.
