I attempted to quit in management chat twelve months ago. Unsuccessfully. That is still my request. Help? Help?

You can go here

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

And cancel billing.

For any websites hosted here, you need arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases as you would be locked out the platform, site support back ups are only available for 60 days.

You can never revert back to being a starter.

I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended
.
Also domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.

You may write to Billing
https://wealthyaffiliate.com/contact

You have action you can take.
Here is a link to your account subscription.
This is where you control your billing. You can cancel by scrolling down on the left hand side to bottom see "cancel billing".
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription

Please make sure to cancel your billing in your account subscription. This means you will loose any websites you may have unless you find another hosting service.

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

When typing to add Content, this problem has happened.

It depends on what you mean by "overstrike". Are letters typing over themselves like old-school typewriter overstrike?

Or are you seeing a "strikethrough" text formatting.

Letters typing over themselves is very uncommon, and likely a browser issue. Might be an outdated browser, or perhaps malware. This is not normal behavior.

Having a strikethrough is just a text formatting issue.

You can clear out any formatting problems by copy/pasting your text into a .txt file, then pasting back in. Should fix it!

You can also use the "clear formatting" button in WordPress, if you are typing inside WordPress. Shown here: https://www.screencast.com/t/TnHzckyG9Gv

Let us know if that works for you Dale!

Hey Dale,

You could Google search to see if others using the same equipment and software as you are when this "overstrike" issue is occurs.

This way, you are most apt to find a quick fix.

Better still, if you have a techie that you depend on for fixing your computer. They may be able to assist you over the telephone.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I have learned several things through my experience:
1) First of all, use Chrome for WA site activity. I had been using Brave, which is fine for better security but can present "issues" with WA. 2) Any tech problem should be referred to the Help Center. Once there, go to Site Support. They respond quickly and intelligently.
3) Questions? repeat the above.

Thanks again for your help.
Best wishes for ongoing WA success!
Dale

Hey Dale,

Not a big fan of Chrome myself. Won't have it on my computers. You may find that Firefox is a LOT better and easier to use then Brave. Just a thought....

SiteSupport is meant for technical issues with your website because they tend to the WA web servers. As for technical issues with our devices, we have to rely on our own tech support, for obvious reasons.

They helped without complaint, though I agree. I've been a FF fan in the past too but was quoting to you what I was told by my Ambassador.

I received a note stating I had a Google rank. Where should that be posted?

Right here if you want to share the success with this community, Dale! There are other better answers below, I'm sure!

If you want to share it with the community, you can post this to your Wealthy Affiliate blog.

With your Wealthy Affiliate membership, you also get a "Wealthy Affiliate blog". This is an internal blogging system for Wealthy Affiliate members who want to communicate with other members in the community.

This blog is not for content related to your niche, like weight loss, woodworking, or art.

This blog is for tracking your online business journey, offering advice and lessons, or sharing your achievements. Topics should be online business, affiliate marketing, or Wealthy Affiliate focused.

To publish content to your Wealthy Affiliate blog, click the pencil icon in the top/right of your members area. Then click "Blog at WA".

After writing your content, you'll need to create 2-3 "tags" for your blog. A tag is just a way of categorizing your post, or labeling it with some words which describe the content. This is so when people search for topics in the search bar, they can find your content more easily.

Content you publish to your WA blog gets indexed in Google, so publishing helpful content could actually lead to you getting referrals to the community and earning some commissions!

I was creating the information post, with image and keywords. The page disappeared as I was nearly complete. This happened twice! Ideas?

Is this related to your question above, or a new question regarding posting on your website?

If you are talking about your WA blog, you can reach drafts here in WA by clicking on the pencil icon, then Blog At WA, then Drafts: https://www.screencast.com/t/ArC4W2XcY

It will prompt you if you want to share it to the community. It will go in your blog section.

You don't have to post it anywhere unless you choose to share with the community that your site is indexed

I've transferred my content to my domain from the first site. Then I purchased a nice template site for my niche. It is download onto my computer and in a folder.
How can I

To install a Premium 3rd party theme you purchased outside Wealthy Affiliate, you need to download the .zip file from the place you purchased the theme.

Once you do that, Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload.

Then you can drag/drop the zip file into the WordPress "Upload New Theme" area, or click "Choose File" and find the theme you want to upload in your Downloads folder on your computer.

The process is explained here: Let me know if you run into any trouble getting that done!

If it is a WordPress Theme that you have purchased from a 3rd Party Site, you need to login to your backend (WP Admin), go to Appearance, then Themes, then click Add New, the click Upload Theme, followed by locating the Zip File on your computer and clicking on Install Now
