Yes Jay, I do try to make my internal links visually appealing to grab the reader’s attention. Like you said, there’s no direct SEO benefit in terms of ranking higher on Google—but from a user perspective, bold links do stand out and encourage more clicks.
That means readers dive deeper into related content, understand the topic better, and spend more time on the site—which helps overall engagement. But yep, interesting to know making links bold, doesn’t boost SEO directly:)
Be sincere, be real. Everything else follows:

Thanks Jay. In my opinion, the bold it's more for being visual appealing, but I was not using it.
Thank you, Jay. I had never tried it or wondered about it. But if it encourages people to click it, it may be useful. I will experiment.
yup, you are right Isabella, If bolding internal links can catch the reader’s eye and encourage more clicks, why not give it a try?

Thanks for raising this nuanced question! While bold formatting doesn’t directly impact SEO rankings, it can guide user attention, increase click-through rates, and reinforce topical relevance—especially when paired with strategic anchor text.
For digital educators and affiliate marketers: bold links can act as visual cues in long-form content, helping readers navigate learning paths or product journeys more intuitively. It’s not just about SEO—it’s about user experience and conversion flow.
