My First Amazon Check Is On Its Way!
I am so happy and excited to report that my very first Amazon check payment is on its way! It feels like such a long time has passed since I made my first Amazon sale until today.
The thing is that affiliate marketing has not been a huge focus of mine when it comes to my main business website as I get in a huge amount of work for influencer jobs, sponsored posts and guest posts which is what is currently keeping me afloat financially.
It's not that I haven't wanted to focus on affiliate marketing, but I have been so busy with other work it has been hard to fit in writing extra articles that focus on affiliate marketing. Towards the end of 2017 I decided that if I don't have the time I will just push myself even more and MAKE the time.
Yes I have been just about killing myself writing late into the night but I want to earn residual income, I want an article I write today to earn for me for many years to come. Influencer jobs are awesome because I get paid a nice amount to write an article BUT I only get paid once for that article and never again.
In November 2017 I decided to start monetizing some of my older blog posts and to start writing new posts targeting affiliate sales.
Today that work has paid off. I got my usual email from Amazon saying that they have sent out payments, however I had never reached the minimum amount to be paid. Today I got that email and went to check my Amazon account and they have sent me my very first check.
It is all due to the things that I have learned here and I can't wait to see how I can grow this income in the months and years to come. It has taken me from 2015 until now to get my first Amazon payment, however between March and April I have made over $40 in Amazon income so it won't be long until my next check makes it way to me.

It just goes to show, it may take a long time but if you focus on it and you work hard it will come.
