I have been reading and using the search in here all day trying to come up with a solution, now I am asking all of you.

I don't know where I am going with this, so bear

There was a lot to read there but I would recommend looking into a good social media manager

never heard of that. do i just google it??

that would be a good start, i recommend before hiring anyone though that you try to read a couple different reviews about them first.

Thank you I will look into that. I always check reviews, BBB, websites, ect before I choose things. I like being cautious.

sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I am not getting all my notifications from here.

Lol this made me laugh. Uhm, I use Outlook/hotmail and I think you can create 10 alias emails in one account.

Or if you only want to use one, forward all of your email into one outlook email. Maybe try creating two or three emails -- one for all your personal stuffs only, one for your spam emails, and one for your businesses (forward all of your mail to this one email address.). At least that's what I do for some of my emails.

I also have a Mac and I utilize the Mac Mail to access several of my emails. With the three emails mentioned above, I am able to access all in one software. Not to mention that I do not have to pay for anything.

As for your social media, Jperry is right. Maybe try utilizing a social media manager like Tailwind, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Curalate. As for the rest of your questions, I did not quite get so I cannot give an answer. x.x

Hi, Not sure where to post this, but hope someone can help.

I am trying to set up my store and I kinda need to have the shipping set up, soon. I have looked here for answ

Are you selling your own physical product?

no, it's printaura

Are you an affiliate with them?
Sorry but I can't figure out if you are selling your own products or are you an affiliate...

I am not an affiliate. my site is https://americanmadeangel.com
I make designs on their product, sell the stuff and get a small portion to keep. It is through a company called Print Aura, they sell mostly t-shirts, but there are other things also.

Sorry I did not respond sooner, I am not getting ANY notifications on here, even for my site comments.

I can't sell anything unless I figure out the shipping, and getting their support to help is taking way to long, it's an average of, I message, they reply a 3-5 days later, repeat.

I've had to deal with this a few times and the WooCommerce plugins seemed like the only option. I did not like having all of those plugins, eventually, one of them will cause an issue with your site.

The cleanest solution is to adjust your prices and offer free shipping or a flat $5.00. Can your items fit in a flat rate padded envelope?

i can't change the prices. its another company that has the physical product. i started with them cuz i was told it was good for beginners and i wouldn't have to spend out of pocket since i have the website here except for domain name. I eventually want to sell my own stuff, but am using this as a learning/how to, since it doesn't cost anything.
kind of a try before you buy. lol

I have had a site for a couple weeks now and it is for selling clothes. It has been working just fine, I was designing the graphics and put a couple on the site. google said it

How many plugins are you using for your site? It may be slowing your site down if you have too many. Also, one of the plugins may have an issue working with another one. I had this problem a couple times before and each time SiteSupport disconnected one of my plugins. I would ask them for guidance. I hope it is resolved soon!

I have 8 running, I can see it slowing my site, but not removing graphics, not allowing me to add products or removing my page name and description from the SEO portion of wordpress. but like I asked, who's site support do I contact for these issues?? I have WA site support, most plugins have a support page and so does the place I am getting my products from and also woocommerce, which most plugins are for them.

I was referring to Wealthy Affiliate SiteSupport in SiteRubix on the left buttons. They will be able to solve your problem asap. Just go to SiteRubix and click SiteSupport. Follow the prompts and write your question. Let me know how it goes by commenting back. I wish you well!

It was recommended that I use mailchimp through my woocommerce website. anyone know the pros/cons over using the email that was set up with my website. does anyone else use an

Hi LyndaY!

Those two are different. Mailchimp is what you use to create newsletters for your audience and then send email in bulk. You then connect or use your business email to show who the sender is. You will need your email to connect and verify your business.

Whenever your receive an email from a company, let's say Old Navy because you signed up for their "newsletter", you will see their email as the sender. It could be mail@oldnavy.com or newsletter@oldnavy.com (whatever format they use). This is also the same for you. Yours can be hello@yourbusiness.com or support@yourbusiness.com.

I don't see the reason for having separate emails with Mailchimp. Just use a generic one as mentioned above. Maybe mail@yourbusiness.com. Why? It's merely marketing to your customers - that is the purpose of MAilchimp. You basically just advertise or keep them up to date, so a general one will do.

I hope that helped.

With Mailchimp you can collect the emails from people signing up on your website and do email marketing.

Your normal email can do this too, but you need to do all by hand, and Mailchimp does this automaticly.

thanks for the reply. well that sounds cool. The less time I have to do manually the better. I did forget part to that question.

If I use mailchimp, can it hook up to the email associated with the website or will I have 2 emails for the same site and have to check each one??

I am wondering what the name would consist of when adding it to like Paypal or a company that asks for the legal business name. would I put it as " this is my name" or would it

Eliminate the dot com is my advice.

It's my understanding that your business name is either a registered business name or your own legal name. It's whatever you use when you pay tax.

Basically any name you want your business to be associated with is acceptable. Not necessarily your website - something you can recognize when people pay you.

:)
Joe

In my case, since my business name is my name, and it's a personal website, I used GomerMagtibay.com

Both ways will do, Lynda. I will suggest that you think about it a bit.

You are in a real business. So make it a real business name that you can associate yourself with. Build the brand. Make it your website name, your signature at the end of your emails. etc.

My niche domain is howtowebmarketing.com but my business name is Web Marketing for Profits.

Hope this helps
Hennie

Thank you, that makes sense. I thought the business name had to be the web address name in some form. I have the site, just trying to get paypal and those set up. Just wanted to make sure since I know what a legal name means in regards to a brick and mortar company, but you don't set up an online shop the same way.
