Yahoo Scam Alert
We have to be aware of what we are doing online because the scammers are going all the way, trying their best to outsmart us.
When I signed into my email and saw this message I was furious. I do not want to lose this email because I have a lot of things link to this email address. The link looks like a Yahoo link so I did not hesitate click on the link.
When I went to the link there was a box similar to the one Yahoo uses, asking for my email address and my password. I started to fill in the box then I stopped, went back and put the cursor over the sender's name "Yahoo" and I realized that the email did not come from Yahoo.I almost got caught, the sender wants my password to take over my account. I blocked the sender hoping that he will give up.
I am getting tired of these scammers but I am not letting down my guard.

They even know how to use email addresses from real companies. Happend to me. I knew the person and the company. I got suspicious because in the mail he addressed me as "Mr", where actually we are friends. So I called him up. And he told me that the whole morning he was answering similar calls to mine. His company email address had been stolen and all his contacts.
I wonder what these people are thinking. There are just tormenting us. I wish I did not have to be in this position. When I had a Facebook account once, they used to hack it and post all sorts of stuff through my account. I had to delete the account.
I am truly tired of them. Thanks for stopping by.
The company I work for has a new security page on its main website that has a whole host of information about hackers and the different methods they will use to try to gain access to sensitive material such as passwords, accounts, and more.
It has loads of training videos on what to look for in phishing emails, attachments, bogus phones calls, etc. It is scary how hackers are getting more and more sophisticated in trying to get access to personal information that can cause great harm.
It is scary, we cannot be comfortable online anymore we have to be alert. Thanks for stopping by.
When you hover your mouse over a link, (many/most/all?) browsers and email clients will display the link's actual destination in the lower left corner. You should completely ignore the link text and look at the URL. (Be sure to check it carefully though. Some scammers will use a misspelled domain name similar to the expected one.)
Yes! I did check to see the sender's email address. I also noticed that it was from an insecure site. I am getting tired of the scams. Thanks for stopping by.

ANY email that you even THINK is a scam, check the email address, like you did and definitely do not click ANY links!
If you are concerned that there is something going on with your account, delete this email - at least close it, log into your Yahoo account and look for issues!
Thanks for the advice and thanks for stopping by.
