Understand as a Preimum member at WA we use Word Press as our editor for our web sites

WA sells us a domaine and attached email

To clarify then anything we do withi

Pardon but I am still troubled
Going to word press.com I need to open an account to make an Gravatar profile

Do. Make a Gravatar . profile directly theu WA and where and how?

Thanks

Thanks a lot for clarifying that

No you need not purchase anything else. You might want to sign up for a Gravatar account but that is free and thru wp.com not wp.org . wp.org is the website that WA hosts

All you need is within your WA membership. Premium WordPress sites will cost about 13$ yearly but nothing more. Email and so on included. For gravatar you should use your email with the website name in it.

Hope I could help,
Cedric

Niche is living a simplified life

Luesimplify.com

I am in it for the long haul but what other way does one do this?

Well the alternative to the long game is of course to pay for traffic and hope that when the paid traffic arrives, they find something they like and want to engage with your site.

Otherwise you can promote the hell of your website via your own personal following while waiting for your keyword content to rank.

What is your niche exactly?

Simplifying our lives
Physically
Emotionally
And Spiritually with lots of stories to tell In all three areas

My thoughts are based on 66 years of living
40'of those married
Most of my adult life involved with people in retail
Step mother of two birth mother of one
Grandmother of 12

Lots of stories to tell of adventure adversity and success

Sensing that most people either want to read about success
Acquire it or slame it - thinking no I will have an audience lol

Lots of product to connect to it

What da you think?

I think it's wonderful and I believe a lot of people would love to hear stories from your experiences. Being able to really connect in a personal way via a blog is very difficult yet highly rewarding.

But I will warn ... a blog of this nature is the long game. It will take a lot of time to gather the valuable community you seek. But as people say - all good things come in time!

But.... Does nice cut it? Lol will attract my nieich?

No problem! It's a nice domain name - good luck.

Thanks that is what I was thinking
looking for something I can brand something catchie

I don't see a problem with using your first name within the URL of your domain name. If you plan to mostly administer the site and author majority of the content, I think it works.

When it comes to URL selection, there really isn't to many rules. It's about what is available and how the domain name relates to your potential content and website.

At the end of the day, like I said you can choose whatever name you want - It's YOUR website!

Can I change or do I delete and or start a new one

when it expire you can change it, but you have to wait to it expire

If it's a dot com you just have to buy a new domain name. If it's a SiteRubix subdomain then you can start a new one with a new name. There's no need to delete it because as a premium member you can have up to 25 top level domains and 25 siterubix subdomains hosted here.

You don't really have to delete it.

You can buy a new one and redirect it like you would with a .siterubix sub domain.

That way you won't have to waste all the work you've already done.

Once you created you can't change the domain name.

Here are a few questions:

Why do I need more, than one web site?

Is this an American company? And if how does that impact me as a Canadian

Hi. You don't need more than one website. Wealthy Affiliate teaches that one website can be a very good source of income. You can have more than one, but you don't need to.

The owners of WA, Kyle and Carson and the Live Training Coach are based in Canada. :)

You can read more about the company details here if you like:

http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/about/

I also wonder the same thing. But is it better to have more than one? Are is that too much work? Well I know for me as being a beginner I need to focus on one at a time until I know what I'm doing it will be awhile before I will put that tasks at hand. I like your answer Jenna7. Thanks!

Yes one at a time or sure. The beginning will be busy Geti g started But. Wonder what the benefit is in the advertising more then one?

Hi, For sure I am plodding along as a beginner on my first site focusing only on the tasks at hand (simultaneously with the videos). But I can see where it will be easier and smoother sailing with the next ones. And I am enjoying the whole process. Wishing you all the best!

Hey guys, I don't know if it's "better" to have more than one. A member who has experience making money from more than one site might be able to answer that.

My experience is that I started creating more than one and it's really difficult to keep up more than one site, or put your all into more than one, but that's me. Other members have no problem doing more than one site.

Having said that, I hope as I get more energy and faster at doing things, I can maybe get the other sites off the ground. I bought two other domain names when I was new here as I was so excited, lol!

I think it just depends on the person and their situation. Some people do well and only prefer to concentrate on one website while others are the opposite.

Lue, I am not sure what you mean by advertising more than one site? Where did you find the information, just curious because I didn't know about it ;)

I meant that WA is promoting that the Premium membership gives you that option... Wondering what the benefit is of that's?
