Hello everybody. I've been an avid Jaaxy user for a couple years now with not to many complaints. But the more and more I use other platforms that show monthly search numbers

Very Interesting Question. I just did some research using Google, and found this interesting article:
https://ahrefs.com/blog/keyword-search-volume/

I need to look at this article in more detail later. However I think that it goes a long way to answering your question.

In a quick nutshell, it seems all of these tools may get the data from the same source, however the source goes not provide the data in 'real time' in an API, so they get the data at different times.

Do you use Jaaxy or do you have another platform you prefer. I will take a long at the article as well - thanks for the feedback

I use Jaaxy Lite as that is included in my WA Premium membership.

Which part exactly ... the part about redirecting URLs or about the length it may take for google to sync your old URLs to the new URLs? But it seems like people don't have an answer for either one lol ...

Something I would like to know also!

Hello everyone. I have 5 pages that are on the second page of google. The highest being rank 12 to the lowest at 20. I've been stuck here for a minute and would like any feedb

Jay has a training which aired on the 27th May and is named 21 Minute Ranking Method in 7 Steps. If you haven't already watched this then give it a go as there is some really good information from him in it as well as him showing you what to do. xxx

Okay great, I'll take a look! I do want to point out that my post are ranked, just not in the top 10. Does this vid concentrate on getting you post/article over the hump and on the first page or just getting your post/article indexed in google? Thanks for the feedback.

No it's for getting them ranked higher and better, it is really worth going and watching it. xxx

Thanks. Will do for sure!

I currently have 7 keywords ranked in google. The highest ranking so far is 2nd page number #7. I've essentially followed the same steps for each post.

However for so

I use Jaaxy to track my ranking so I don't have to go through pages and pages of results ;)

Is that only a paid service by Jaaxy ..? And, do you know of any free platforms that offer what you're referring to? Thanks.

Yes, you need a Jaaxy paid account to track that.

You can also try SerpFox. You can track up to 5 keywords for free with them ;)

You know after you mentioned Jaaxy ability to track site rankings - I went ahead and upgraded my account to pro.

And you're right about the ease of Jaaxy and tracking your keyword ranking. Thanks my friend!

Glad you like it ;)

To try and clear things up a little.
Indexing means that your page is listed in the search engines.
Ranking is your position within that list.

As JVan said below, searching with quotes brings up the results of sites using that exact keyword phrase.

Searching without quotes brings up the results of sites either using that phrase somewhere in the content or that google feels is relevant to that search phrase.

You stated that you searched without quotes and trekked through 20 pages and were not found however, doing my own quick search without quotes brought up 539,000 results for that term so, if there are say, 10 results per page, that means there are 53,900 pages, not 20 so, your page could be anywhere but it is ranked somewhere.

If you continue building out your site with quality content which targets low competition keywords properly, you will likely enjoy better rankings as your site matures after several months.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply and you're exactly right with your comment about ranking and indexing. I use a quotation search just to see if I'm indexed. If found under a quotation search, I assume my post is indexed, then I proceed to do a normal search to find the exact ranking.

You made a really good point by saying there are many more websites than the 20 pages or so I click through looking for my site. So from that point of view you're right, my site could be anywhere within those half million results.

It's just for all my other post and keywords when found with a quoted search I was easily able to locate its ranking. Only this post seems to be lingering in google search cyberspace, but happens to be the first hit on a quoted search.

I will continue to write keyword targeted content and hopefully as you say everything will work itself out for all my post to eventually get ranked!

one thing I did notice is, besides the title and first paragraph there are many places you use the word dreadlocks but, I didn't notice any other instances of the word women

That is a good point but I followed the advice of the training and focused on the exact keyword 'dreadlocks and women' in the first paragraph only. I then allowed the keyword to come up naturally within the writing of the post.

That is a good point however and that could be why only the quoted search populates so easily. I really appreciate all of your feedback!

Yes. you did everything right and I almost didn't mention it.

I thought your article was actually very well written and I didn't mean to imply that you should have overused the exact keyword phrase however, I was just thinking that a post about dreadlocks and women could have been focused a bit more towards women as it is that "relationship" that google will determine relevance on, in my opinion, in addition to the keyword phrase,

Other than that, your site appears to be slightly less than two months old so, with the quality of the content you are providing, I feel it's just a matter of time until you start enjoying better rankings.

Hope this helps -good job and good luck to you

Thanks and as I said before, can't thank you enough for the feedback!

Hey,

I found this explanation from google...

When you put a word or phrase in quotes, the results will only include pages with the same words in the same order as the ones inside the quotes. Only use this if you're looking for an exact word or phrase, otherwise you'll exclude many helpful results by mistake.
Example: "imagine all the people"

Hope this helps!

Best,
JV

Thanks for the reply. I really only use a quotation search just to test if my post will even come up in google. I just found it very odd that I can't find my post without quotes, but can with.
