How to Rank on Google's First Page? Join Wealthy Affiliate.
I was doing keyword research in Jaaxy at lunch break and saw it's site rank feature. I decided to run 2 random post titles and to my surprise, one of them made it to Google's first page!
How did we manage to rank on Google's first page when 6 months ago we knew nothing about making a website? The answer is Wealthy Affiliate.
We've been doing WA part-time. We are both full-time registered nurses who are trying to re-create ourselves as we get ready for retirement in 10 years. Six months flew by so quickly because we we enjoyed writing about topics that we're passionate about. And we enjoyed the learning process together, especially since outcomes are quick to see i.e. we learned how to create a website in minutes, we became affiliate marketers of Amazon and other affiliate networks, we got introduced to Google Adsense and was proud to see those Ads on our website, etc. Our vocabulary is transitioning from medical to technical :-) And the knowledge we've gained so far is just tip of the iceberg. If we had more time to give, we would have gained much more knowledge by now, because there is just so much to learn in Welthy Affiliate. But we do this only part time which is 2-3 hours after work, and maybe about 3-4 hours per day on weekends and holidays.
Before finding out today that our post landed on Google's first page (we still haven't checked the ranking of the rest of our posts), we weren't really sure if we were doing keyword research correctly. What we knew was, we followed instructions provided on the Keyword training course. We would also pick up some valuable information from other WA members. For instance, while in the chat room, someone mentioned that its not recommended to choose keywords with the less than [<] sign at the beginning of the words/phrase.
Big thanks to Kyle and Carl for creating such a wonderful platform for online business education. Special thanks to Jay/Magistudios for the 21 Minute Ranking Method in 7 Steps Video. I believe this video made a difference. And that was just a random choice as I was selecting a video training to listen to while driving to work. What luck!
So believe me when I say:
Cross my heart.

Hi Gigi, sounds like you and Louie really have it together even though you are pressed for time. It must be very challenging going back and forth from medical to technical also. Wish you two the best of everything. :-) Frank
