my gift to me, offering to all newbies - i wish i had done it sooner
As i began to grasp the range and absolute vastness of the collaboration here for all of our success i realized that it was also one of the downsides of how i was dealing with it. if i had known, if i had understood earlier, i would have done this from the beginning. when some one asked me..anything - i could just *blink* and think, well i saw...something, somewhere...hang on - i search the people i follow and try to come up with what i remembered seeing. i get back to find some one had it at a few clicks. totally my bad. i hadn't kept, filed, or tracked in anyway all of the new training offered by so many amazing people here. There is a variety of personalities and perspectives, such a resource, and i was wasting it by not having it at my fingertips to share it forward. what i have chosen to do when i realized it is try to keep them in one spot, for a quicker easier search not just for everyone else but for myself as i try to progress through the steps - some things i just wasnt ready for - but am now or will be. Foe me, i need to try to keep them all together so i have started to just park them in a word doc, as sort of a back up course - the offerings of soooo many people here. so much help that kind people offer so kindly, so generously. i so wish i had being doing it from the start - a half dozen times in chat i kept thinking i wish i had filed that, i wish i remembered where i saw that - finally smacked myself with , well...why haven't you? oh duh - simple solution for my problem i did nothing about *face palm* i blame the learning curve, lol :)
LOL, no need to hit yourself! I have done the same thing, wondered where I saw the piece of information needed... Sometimes I remember to star it, usually not. Luckily, this community is the best, and someone will always pop up with the needed info!
i was actually trying to remember who posted what, go to my network, find them, find the post...holy moly no wonder some one had already answered before i got back in - seriously so happy everyone here shares so freely - and apparently file better than i did, lol
i think i might do it as a regular thing, just plunk in all of the new ones as they come - like a library, i have a thing for libraries, lmao! :)
