Rumors Dispelled
Early to mid of last year, there were rumors floating around that Google+ was going down the tubes. But, alas, they reconfigured and changed their layout a bit, moving some features around. For example, Google Hangouts is no longer part of Google+ and is now out on it's own and available from within Gmail. They have also introduced a new feature called Collections, which is what I would like to provide a wee bit of instructions on about how to maximize this new aspect of this social media marketing powerhouse.
Before we hop into the actual training, let's take a peek at some statistics on Google + and perhaps give you a wee bit of motivation on why this is a good source of website traffic....
Recent Statistics on Google +
Google+ has 20 million monthly unique mobile users
Google+ has 300 million monthly active users
13% of U.S. Small Businesses are now using Google+
Google+ reaches 38% of the U.S. Population

Percentage of TOP 50 U.S. Law Firms that have a Google + page: 94%
Average sales order for visitors referred by a Google + page: $40
Percentage of Inc 500 companies that use Google+: 58%
As you can see, this social media platform continues to grow and is rapidly gaining ground as one of the top players in social media marketing, branding and business development.
Obviously, the new upgrade to Google+ yields a bit more comforting insight that Google has plans to keep the platform around and is apparently gearing it towards not only personal pages, but business information and development.
So, let's move on and check out the new Collections feature....
