xpaint for Linux or Ubuntu users
Xpaint is a free program
You can take screenshots and add text etc.
Just trying some things out to show you.
Make your own quotes with a picture on the background.
Like this....
So when you are a linux- ubuntu - user, this is a great program!
It is to compare with paint from microsoft.
You can do a lot more with it, I just have to find out myself.

Nice to see another Linux user. That's the good thing about Linux its so stable and versatile. If there's a Windows program there's usually a Linux equivilent that does what it says on the tin and usually without the fancy polish.
You are a linux user too? I love the way it works, but I am running against a lot of "not compatible" programs, and than I have to find out what program looks like it, so I have downloaded a few, before I found this one.
Hello Loes
Have you tried asking in the Ubuntu Forum for advice on alternative programs. I beleive they are very good. Also installing a program called Wine can run a few windows progs on Linux if you need them
I have an inbuild sofwarecentre from ubuntu, everything is working correct from that centre, the only problem is, there is to much choice, and then finding just that program what does the thing you are looking for, thanks for the wine advice, (love that anyway:)
Thanks Rohan, I saw so many creative thing going by, I thought, there has to be a way for me too, with Linux, to do that kind of stuff:)
That's awesome!! Well done! And I am sure now that you found that you can't wait to do more right? hehe
Yeah, right! my "regular work" is running around the premisis now, folding F16 airplanes, which are flying around my head :)
