The about me page connects you with your visitor
The about me page is one of the most important pages on your website. It's the connection that you make between you and your visitor. Your visitor has to recognize him/her self in the text.
And it is difficult not to brag, and still to say that you are the best in your field.
If you write an about me page, here are 3 tips you should pay attention to, and 3 tips that you should not do.
Do's
1. Look through the eyes of your customers.
Tell why other customers are talking about you. Explain how you helped them. How you started your business. And about your successes, which can become theirs.
2. Be human and accessible.
Avoid using superlatives as "the best, or" the best in the world "
Show yourself and possibly your team, as real people, take good pictures and pay attention to the background. Also provide some information about you as a person (and your team).
You can highlight some events that are nice things in your life.
3. Surprise your visitor.
Give a dash of humor. Humor connects people all over the world.
An image of you with your spouse, children, dog or cat works perfectly.

Don'ts
1. Say that you are doing financially bad and that you had such bad luck.
2. Neglect to add a photo of yourself.
3. Tell your entire medical career from A to Z and back again.

Great post. The about page is what converts. People will always want to hear your story especially if it relates to theirs.
But you so right about the does and don't. Thank you for the resources, Loes.
I actually need to redo my "About Me" page, sot his is very helpful.
I've read Nathaniel's "About Me" before... very impressive. He tells a good story.
