One of these days
Everyone knows them,
ohh no, it's one of these days.
I got a nice black coat from my mum, it hanged in her closet for 20 years, so it's fashion again:). But it had a kind of weird smell, and in the etikette stood, no washing, no dry cleaning, no dryer, no ironing, no bleeching.
What the heck? How do you clean a coat like that? I said to my mom, I just put it in the washing machine and see what is happening.
It came out with a layer of little black grains. My hands where dusted.
So what now? Idea! I put it in the dryer, then the grains are going into the filter.
O my, was I wrong
When I opened the dryer, all light gray plastic parts were paved. And I had to remove it with a scourer. It costed me more then an hour to clean up the dryer again.
So the coat went back in the washer, to wash the dusted grain of, that was a better idea, it's hanging outside now, to dry, without a grain of dust:))
Oke, time for my website.
Yeah, yeah, it's one of those days:((( I told you.
My WP link library plugin colapsed, that's not just a plugin, it's my amazing website tools link plugin. Every link was duplicated, the UI of the plugin was changed, and I had not the faintest Idea how to add or remove a new link. I wrote the developer, and wonder! I got direct reply! He said, click the reinstall link button on the general page. Well that wasn't working. Then he said, here is a file, you can download it and upload it to your website via FTP.
Yeah..:( Not !
It's my 3rd plugin on this page colapsing. 425 links on it. I copied the links from a cache page. Paste it into a draft. Rearanged 425 links, and added all the anchors.
Removed the link id= numbers and tracking codes.
The worst part of this is, I have this plugin on 2 other websites:(( Well the best part is that I know now how it works, I practiced 425 times;)
This page is back in business:))!
So, the sun is shining again, it's 1 hour before bedtime, I think I go sit still on the couch and not move anymore today;)))

Great sense of humor, Loes. But I have always known...Feel a bit sorry though- it should have been stressful quite a bit.
Looks like you are doing better with your plugins than with your washing machine. And I am really awed at how you cope with all this stuff..for me the phrase "upload it to your website via FTP" would be the end of the game...lol:))
You must be sleeping now- you are quite disciplined. Hope you have nice dreams with your coat being fine and FTP(lol ) working...:)
