How do you write a good introduction text?
Your intro text is important because it ensures that your readers will stay. In the first place, it's your title that motivates your reader to click on your article. But after that? It is the intro text that holds your reader.

Do you also make the same mistake with writing your introtext, like I did? Is your bounce rate sky-high? I was certain of it, that I wrote good introduction texts until I saw these 3 tips. Would you like to know more about how to keep and hold the interest of your reader? Then these 3 tips can help you to write stunning introduction texts. And perhaps there is more to it. 3 Tips
There are 3 things that can be incorporated into your introduction text.
1. Show empathy for your reader.
Do not write in the "I" form, but write in the "you" form. Your reader would like to see immediately what you can mean to him. Therefore speak to your reader as an individual person and not as a group. And speak to your reader personally.
Do you also make the same mistake with writing your introtext like I did?
Is your bounce rate sky-high?
2. A good intro text arouses curiosity
Therefore ask a stimulating question in your intro text. Or a hidden answer.

3. Start a conversation
Involve your reader actively with your blog. Let your reader think along with you. Your reader has to read your blog first before he can answer your question. And with your intro text you can do an appeal on the creative thinking of your reader.

Thanks Loes - I'm still working on writing attractive hook intros so I appreciate your post. Great tips!
Some copywriters state that they spend nearly the same time on their title as they do on the actual copy. If your copy is brilliant, it will be wasted as nobody will read it if the title isn't good enough to grab them.
That is so true. I hate falling for clickbait. I don't usually visit again a site using such methods after I've been cheated like that.
All good tips, as usual, Loes.
Another way might be to show that we and the reader are somehow related. To start something like"If you are anything like me, you might have come across this problem", "you might have found yourself in this situation"... etc.:)
Dear Loes
Thank you, so simple yet so important I give you 5 *****.
Much Appreciated
