How Cool!

Google launches earphones which can translate up to 40 languages!

The Google Pixel Buds are wireless and translate immediately. With AI software, spoken words are converted into text, then translated, converted into speech and eventually returned to the carrier.

How convenient can these buds be for the WA training for people who do not speak English?

WA training instantly translated into your own language!

Addition: For now, the Google pixel buds (+/- $150) only work in combination with the software on the Google Pixel 2 phone or the Google XL phone which both cost around the $1000.

But heeej! Don't worry! I have faith in the Chinese. The Chinese market will jump on this in no-time!

I saw this last night. I was looking at the new chrome books and saw them. I want a pair, but have to wait until after Christmas; got children.

I want them too, I work a lot with refugees and they are speaking Arabic, it can be very helpful, we often talk with hands and feet now

Awesome! Thanks, Loes :)

It seems to become very helpful to many in the near future:)

They have Google Translate. Why not marry that to the innovative technology they have!

It's a great combi, to have earphones which translate at the stand!

The way technology is heading I wouldn't be surprised if our planet becomes like Startrek. Beam me up Scotty.
I am just leaving Australia now Loes I will see you in a couple of minutes. hehehehe

Alrighty! I'll put the kettle on!

That will be nice. I should be there any moment now

Great! Coffee is ready!

I can almost taste it. Can you hear me knocking on the door? hehe

Is that you? Well then I will open the door, it's 01.30 here, and you never know who's knocking at that time:)

Sorry Loes,I must have been knocking on the wrong door.
I got a Google copy. Stupid me, I knew I should have paid extra and got the GOOGLE original

awww blimey:(

Awesome Loes!
I have no other words...just awesome :D

I want them too, I am in refugee work, and I like to have Arabic translated!

That would be great!

This is outstanding Loes, it helps to include the whole world. Very impressive :D

AMAZING!

Yes! It is! I have searched the internet for which 40 languages, I couldn't find it but I hope Arabic is one of them

Wow, Google is God....... Of the internet. Thank you for the information Loes.

Make it a great weekend

Looks like it:) Have a great weekend too!

wow!!!

Start making you think of travel to unknown areas:))

On my bucket list.

Those are amazing! Google is getting smarter and smarter. Also great for someone traveling to other countries so you can understand what they are saying. But they still wouldn't be able to understand you unless they also are wearing them. Those have a lot of applications.

Thanks for sharing that info Loes,
Barbara

It's a great start, more will be invented with this software Barbara

This looks very good. Much better than google translate which is horrible except for the biggest languages.

It has still childhood errors but the begin is there, it's revolutionar
