FYI The Cultural Story Of Humanity
Our cultural story
Traditionally, it is in our genes to conquer. Conquering land, land on water, property, women, conquering thoughts as well. Conquering is in our blood. And that was also necessary in the time when we could not do anything else and it was the only way to survive. We didn't know any better than to go on a warpath against everything and everyone. It meant "surviving".
When we saw that a number of things could be different, we exchanged, acted and traded. The economy was born.
But there went often something wrong, which brought us back on the warpath, because we were used to it.
Until we realized that a solution could also be reached with talking. The beginning of political discussions and solutions came our way.
The political discussion was born.
But sometimes that went wrong, and the armament sounded already, because we were so used to using it as a solution.
It is a vicious circle of violence, talking, sanctions, and again violence.
As long as we live on earth, there are people with different thoughts about life and its meaning. Everything that is different is difficult to accept, after all we are "habit animals" and that's convenient to us. It should not be too strenuous.
Since the beginning of the spoken and written language, there are voices and sounds that want to tell us and perhaps warn us of a lack of understanding of life.
We can no longer turn away from the fact that there is a lot of inequality in the world. In every country we can watch and see what the life of the population looks like.
We justify ourselves with excuses as, it is their faith or they do not work so hard or their regime is corrupt, or something like that. How on earth can we justify that one person is entitled to more than another, only through a geographical location, family of birth or a smart trade spirit?
Questions to think about:
- When will we understand that we must first address the flaws within our own walls, the idea of a lack of supplies that manifests itself in "more, better and more beautiful?"
- When will we realize that every person here on earth is entitled to a basic existence?
- When will we actually commit ourselves to fight for a basic existence for every human being?
- When do we see that we are one with each other, and that we can choose to give love, but we also can choose to spread sorrow through our actions?
We understand which effect a toothache or a fever has on our personal body.
What do you think, which effect a bomb or violence has on the unity of the whole?
Distribution of resources
I compare it with putting out a fire. A long line of people passes buckets to extinguish a fire. What happens when the first few people in the row refuse to pass the bucket of water until the last one in the row has been reached? Right, the building is burning to the ground. Total destruction.
So it is also with the distribution of the riches, if the richest people refuse to pass on the riches until the last man on earth is reached and every human being is provided for, at least, the basic needs, the earth will always remain a hellhole to many human beings.
How can our world leaders act upon violators of the human rights?
There is really only one civilized solution and that is that all world leaders unanimously decide that the perpetrators of violence against humanity are immediately removed from their position.

I totally agree with you Loes and the reality of inequality which has always existed - and probably will continue since nothing's changed - is a downer. World leaders all coming together would be huge but I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Good evening Loes.
I believe that all humans have a right to a roof over their heads, education, food, medical assistance. If all people could have that most of them would be happy to live where they are born.
Our planet can produce enough food for all if we take the greedy away who have to have $$$$$$$$$$$ to be happy when the rest of the world is starving.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske
Awesome post and I agree with you on this subject. Human beings that don't have been treated not nice let me say it that way. It is a disgrace. Especially our veterans are treated not nice after they gave their lives for this country it is a disgrace. There should not be homeless people in this country at all. We are supposed to be the richest country in the world.

I have lived in several different countries and travelled through many more and one of the things that struck me was that the boundaries between countries do not really exist. There are no real differences between different nationalities.
Around the national boundaries, culture and language blurs and there is only an imaginary, man-made line between the two countries.
We are all human beings and the word "being" means exist.
We all have a right to exist.
I loved your post.
Keep writing.
Boundaries are man-made, and we all can see human is not that smart.
