6,300 Word Guide For My Site
Today I have been working on my site since 8:30am til midnight... there were breaks sure, but no lunch, picked up kids, helped with homework, cooked dinner, then at it again.
Also threw in some consulting work for social media.
It helps when I have some special juice during the evening hours.
Anyway, I have been working on this Guide for my site... I felt like I've been missing a central point of everything I want to say about WA.
All my posts so far just referred people to my WA review, but it doesn't seem to be converting well and I've been updating that throughout this year already.
When I see other sites, they have a big sales page about this whole process of making money online and then also about Wealthy Affiliate.
I wanted one of those pages and I've been putting it off.
SO FINALLY...
I got down to business and did it!! And I built it with the plugin called Elementor!
OH MY, what a great plugin! It's great for something like this because it takes away all your headers, menus, sidebars, footers, and starts with a blank slate!
Yes, it took a few days and I'm sure I will still update it again every single freaky time I look at it... but I thin it's good enough to be published.
It's OVER 6,300 words long!!!
It's basically everything I've talked about on my site but all at once. I wished I could have just copied and pasted from several posts I have but I didn't... it was all written from the heart.
I hope it resonates with others because I couldn't be more honest and frank about WA and what I love about it.
I got an email opt-in from it already, so it'll be interesting if I'll get more WA referrals from it. I still have to work on my email marketing after they see the guide but that's my next project!
You really never stop working on your business. At least I don't! I feel like there's so much to dooooo!
How about you??
What have you added to your site that will add some conversions or sales?

Diligence pays off! And, of course, I'm a HUGE fan of Elementor. When you're ready to show it off, I'd love to see what you've built. Well done, Grace!
That's great news Grace. It sounds like your investment of time and energy will pay off big. Awesome job! I hope to learn more about the plugins as I move forward.
Thank you! I hope so. :)
You will check out plugins as you go or have a need for something to help your site do something.
Grace - Wow! Awesome stuff. 6300 words! I need to check out Elementor. Yes you never stop working on your business. Thanks for the great post.
Wow Grace! You are definitely a busy person. It sounds like all your hard work will pay off making these new changes. Just watch the traffic roll in now, right! :0)
Yes, there is always Sooo much to doooo!
Mark
Thanks Mark, it's been the most work I've done with the least about of money earned. Lol. Hopefully that changes in the next 12 months!
Grace, you are so hardworking. I admire you. Ah, and I would like to read that post. It would be a good idea to create an e-book out of that.
Thanks for your thoughts and kind words! Trying to do my best while not spending money on PPC. Lol... maybe I should just shell out the money.
That's great to hear, sounds like it'll be a great source of information. I've used Elementor before and I can totally agree it's a great tool for building pages like that and there's a free version which has enough features to build a really good page. I hope it converts well for you. :)
All the best,
Steph
Hi Stephanie, yes Elementor was pretty easy to use for sure and it was a nice surprise. I had heard about it but never checked it out, then I wanted to find out how to create a page without my header and footer and Elementor came up! It was meant to be. :)

Hi Grace,
I am curious about the "big sales page about this whole process of making money online". How does this work? Is there a tutorial for it?
Thanks.
Jude
Hi Jude, I'm just talking about building a page that includes what affiliate marketing is, how it works, why it works, and where to get training for it. It's just more comprehensive than just having a WA review. There's no particular training for it - I just wanted a guide where I can put everything I know about affiliate marketing plus WA together. It's just my view on building an online business and you can do the same with what you know.
If you've gone through the training, you will have the knowledge about how to build this business and explain the same to someone else in a page like that.
I also just looked up a plugin to use on google (Elementor) and learned how to use it on my own, you can use this too, it's free.
Hope this helps,
Grace
Hi Grace,
Thanks for explaining and for the introduction of Elementor. I started using it from yesterday and it works beautifully.
In view of this, I may use SiteContent less and just switch to Elementor.
SiteContent and Elementor are two different purposes.
SiteContent is just for writing your regular posts, you can't do any formatting, images, etc, until you publish to your site and then do further editing.
Elementor is for creating landing pages, not for regular posts you do. I would not use this for the 200 posts I did, for example. It's for special pages (that can be posts too) if you will where your regular posts direct people to.
