Something exciting happened today!

Hey everyone

I don't blog on here often, last time was almost two months ago, as I try to save my energy for writing on my websites, but felt compelled to come along and share a small victory I've had today...

Someone left a comment on one of my websites that hadn't come via Wealthy Affiliate!

Now, I feel I would be doing the WA family a disservice here not to recognise how valuable it is getting comments from everyone on the give and take thread - and I am truly grateful for that and will continue to be a part of it - it's awesome (by the way if you've not checked it out yet, come join us - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/authoring-writing-content/the-give-and-take-comment-thread-get-website-engagement). So this is for everyone out there who has kindly paid it forward and engaged in comments on my websites:

Anyway, it probably seems crazy making a song and dance about it, but this was an exciting moment for me. I know I am getting a bit of organic traffic, and some referrals from social media, but it's one thing for someone to land on my page and read it, and another thing entirely if they feel the urge to comment. So, I'm chuffed!

Of course, the end goal we all have here is to make money from our online businesses, and that will come. But not before we have put in the effort to provide valuable content to our readers.

It's unlikely that any of us will wake up rich tomorrow morning - it doesn't happen overnight, but celebrating these small victories along the way is a great reminder that there is more to this than money. We are building an empire of authority within our niches. We will only make commissions from our readers if we give them something in return, and that is good quality, valuable content.

I hope everyone can look back on the last few weeks and recall a similar victory, no matter how small and insignificant it might seem at the time, it's another brick laid in the foundation of success.
