I would like to know how I'm doing so far?

Please keep in mind that I haven't started out here at WA too long ago, these websites are still under construction. I try to spend allot of time on them every day, but sometimes I get lost and forget what I wanted to do - you can laugh, it's OK.
It takes me 2 days to do 1 article, so I'm moving slowly. This is not because I'm a slow writer, it's just because I'm homeschooling too and that comes first. Then there are other family and home responsibilities that also needs attention and not to mention all the small interruptions while I'm writing.
But why I'm writing this is because I want advice, honest and true advice.
With the websites I've created before I got here, there must be things wrong, because they are not generating traffic or money, so I want to be sure that I'm doing things right this time around, not hurrying into things.
I've been brave, because I already know how WordPress works, so I've created one website in the normal training and one in the bootcamp, but I want to ask everybody who want to and can, before I go too far doing things wrong again to please take a look at my sites and give me honest reviews about these.
Like for the Baby gifts site, I look at changing the theme regularly, because of the very small fonts - should I, shouldn't I, I don't know? I've already done my pictures and writing to fit this theme, but I'm not going to let that keep me back should I change it?
Any advice will be seen as uplifting constructive advice, so please let me know.

Hi Linda - I had a look at your successonline site and made a few notes that you may find useful...
1) On your "success online" page I see that you have the comparison table for WA. I was advised to take this off my site by one of the Ambassadors because it is now basically giving false information because of the "unlimited websites" comment. It's now 25 Siterubix sites and 25 hosted sites if you are a premium member. I notice that you also have this banner on your getting started page. Could confuse your potential clients....and maybe irritate a few?
2) on the same page you have 2 banners that are very close together. Wondered if you might prefer to move one of them further down the page so that you get a second bite at the cherry (so to speak) if your reader decides to scroll/read further down?

Hi Linda, your baby site looks really good, loads well and is easy to navigate. I would put the Privacy Policy in a sidebar and take it off the top menu, just to keep the menu on one line (which Kyle recommends). Overall it's a good site, with quality content.
The success online site I could not get to load. I use a MacBook Pro and I tried it in safari and in Chrome, but it wouldn't load at all. Maybe it's just my computer. Hope this helps :)

Both sites are well made, look very professional and have a large amount of useful content. Your baby site should be a nice money maker, as you can really expand on all the lead points you made, by generating new articles from many of them and then including links to products within the content.
One of the best ways at doing this is using Amazon as it has a massive selection of products that you can work into your articles; such that it doesn't look like you are outright pushing products to readers that are looking for information.
I would also suggest that you break up the page so that it's not such a long read and then link the pages together sort of like in a theme.

You make beautiful art, are you selling through Gumroad or Etsy?
What is your website address? I know if you're not a premium member, you can't put in the url, but I saw the other day someone just put domainname[dot]com and we searched for it.

Linda I liked both of them. I'm going to start my wa affiliate site this weekend. On yours I don't like having to click a button on the front page to get into the site. I always think when I do that that someone is capturing some bit of info on me... that's just my opinion. On the other site I would want to change the font a little also. I have a site like that that I want to change some of the fonts throughout. Gotta be a plugin that can help. I did very minimal research and there is a google plug in that is google fonts but I haven't had time to experiment enough with it. Well done on your sites; keep up the good work and hope that success finds you.

Interesting theory, the one on people capturing some info - I've never thought of that, but the people who know allot, will figure out anything to get our information.
I'll also search to see if there's not anything that will help with the size of the fonts, I've searched here and found a tutorial on changing them, but there is not a place in my theme's coding which allows that and then I've also searched for it from the developer. Ironically, I wasn't the only one who wanted to know and in the forum, the other person who asked's question was marked as answered, but there was no answer.

Hi Linda, Your sites look very professional and easy to follow when reading content. Your experience shows. You connect with people and become a trusted leader.You seem to have a good sales funnel that goes to a specific CTA, without a lot of distraction On my Mac the opening page is a bit clunky as I use a mouse pad, this just might be me.
AS far as I know the layout looks good with titles and headers ( something I'm trying to get a handle on.)
I would suggest running your sites with an SEO analyzer if you haven't
done so yet . You are doing great considering the home schooling that you do.

I wonder if the clunky page is just on the Mac?
I searched for SEO analyzer and they said there's still some things wrong, which I think the biggest that could be a concern right now is design quality is low, but got that for both sites. Maybe because of using free themes?

Hello again Linda, I love your "Making Money on Line" site. It is very well perceived! Just one suggestion. The landing site should link more to your page explaining all about the different programs and choices reviews. What you write is right on, especially about the "surveys". I feel here you could explain also that the way these so called surveys are asking the questions and give you only certain answers to mark, basically is "Social Engineering" and not a true survey! That is just my opinion! Otherwise it looks and feels great.
I cannot comment on your Baby Gifts site because it is totally out of my league.

Hey Linda, not problem at all! Anything to give them "surveys" a black eye; like I said they are SOCIAL ENGINEERING" IN PERSON, TO ME ANYWAY!
For your Landing Page, I presume you got the idea, I just meant to put links to your WA promotional page into he Landing page so people can "jump" if they want to. I think you are on track now!

IMHO Changing themes will confuse your readers. For me, once I get used to something, change is not what I want to see. Also, some of the training I have read tell us that the theme isn't really that important. Mainly make it easy to read and navigate. Hope this helps..

Hi Linda, Keep in mind I am no expert or even close :-) I like the lay out on the Baby site, but the light grey print is a little hard on these "Old Eyes" You seem to have a great grasp on things, so I would just keep on doing what you are.

I think that is one of the main reasons I feel like changing the theme, I tried to make the fonts bigger too, but the theme doesn't allow it. But I did make them black, didn't think of that - thank you for the suggestion.
The only reason I chose it was because of the ribbons that looked so baby-ish, but in the end it's more about my user being comfy than using ribbons.

Thank you, I was stuck for longer than a week, because I thought, what if my themes are wrong? I don't want to build out too much on the site just to find out that the themes aren't a good fit - I've seen changing it can sometimes cause some problems. I was afraid to move on before I knew for sure.
