The Most Profitable Niches

Last Update: June 04, 2016

I get asked all the time where (what) are the most profitable niches. And my response usually is, the most profitable niche is the niche related to your hobby or passion.

And I say that because if you're really into something - it will be profitable. Not rocket science really.

But for some people they don't have a zeroed in passion or hobby, maybe a strong interest of something but they're not sure they can make a go of it.

Here is a sure fire 100% guaranteed way of knowing you're into a profitable niche.

Want to know the BIG secret?

Here in Canada attached to many Starbucks is a book store called Chapters, and in Chapters there is a huge monthly magazine section - everything from woodworking to scrapbooking and everything in between.

You are now standing in the holy grail of profitable niches. (add heavenly music here)

If a company is spending, what is a HUGE amount of money printing and publishing a monthly magazine then you can be rest assured it's a profitable niche.

Oh and not only is it a guaranteed profitable niche, you now have an unlimited supply of content resources for that niche. The magazine does all the heavy lifting for you.

Another resource is the Dummies series of books, again if a company is willing to spend BIG money on printing and publishing a book about a topic, you know it's a profitable niche.

You'll find the dummies series of books on just about every subject, they are in the bookstores as well or you can find them online at the dummies store. http://www.dummies.com/store.html

Ok hope that helps.

I believe in you
Leo

Hi Leo, strangely I have been thinking of you recently as I continue to refer people to your training. as you have been so much help to me. How are you these days?

I love bookstores and used to spend all my spare time, when travelling, in them. Especially if they have coffee bar attached! And you are certainly right about niches. Mine involved books and their accompanying ancillaries.Every time I go into a shop I find something else to write about.

As for Starbucks, they tried a shop in Hobart. It lasted a very short period of time and then shut up shop. We have so many good coffee bars and customers are loyal to them.

Wow. I just had a light bulb moment reading your blog. I have a few domains that I have ideas for but it is always in the back of my mind that, when I come to creating a website for them, I will have no real data. Sir, you are a genius (in my eyes anyway), and I really appreciate this info. Take care.

Leo, I think you've hit the nail on the head.
Too often people put the cart (money) before the horse (passion).
If you have a passion for something it will drive not only you but your business as well. Let the money find you.

My greeting at WA used to be, "take a subject you like and build a business you love... that's it."

Thanks for sharing with us Leo.After all these years of using the internet,it was only recently that I started looking at it as a massive library, with the websites being analogous to the books. We've gone from using a wordpress to print pages all the way to using Wordpress to build websites.Have a good weekend.

Many of the Ideas I get for articles to write for my websites comes from looking at the list of Dummy Books. I agree, if a company is willing to spend BIG money on printing and publishing a book about a topic, it has to be a money maker.
