Go Touch Grass - Say What?
Have you heard this saying Touch Grass?
If not it's an alternative way of telling someone that you're spending too much time online and you should go outside.
Usually, you'll find people saying this phrase in the gaming community.
But it can apply to anyone who spends too much time online.
Take us as business builders, on more than one occasion I've seen conversations of how people spend every waking hour building their business.
That dedication is good, but the reality is it's detrimental to you and your business.
You have to take breaks (touch grass).
The absolute best thing you can do for the growth of your business is to step away from it.
Doing so allows you to:
- Recharge your batteries
- Get a fresh perspective on things
- Gives your mind a break
- Allows for more creative thinking
- Allows for better problem solving
I think people are under the impression that if they step away from their business it will hurt the progress of their business.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The growth of your business depends on you regularly taking breaks. Short ones and long ones.
So, if you haven't already - Touch Grass

A great post as always Leo, but touching grass always had a different meaning for me back in my youth!!
We should always take breaks away from the screen as we need them, sometimes our best ideas appear to us this way!

I totally agree, and I'm frequently "preaching" this in my WA posts.
We need to schedule some downtime each day to do the things we enjoy, including "touching grass!" It's healthy and will help us work more efficiently!
