Just got in a few minutes ago from an 8 mile 3 hour hike around a nearby lake. The picture above was taken from the Dam near the parking lot where we started 3 hours earlier.This is Lake Frederick near Front Royal VA and another favorite spot of mine. This one is open to the public (supposed to get a day pass or annual permit) and is great for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and hiking.No power boats allowed (can put them in but can’t start engine - electric trolling motors or paddles only).
