When anyone writes a comment on my site Akismet sends a message that there is a problem and that inspection or checking for spam is taking to long, and if I want to adjust settings
Akismet is not checking for spam why?
When anyone writes a comment on my site Akismet sends a message that there is a problem and that inspection or checking for spam is taking to long, and if I want to adjust settings
I need help since I recieved this message from Akismet:
"Akismet has detected a problem.
Some comments have not yet been checked for spam by Akismet. They have been temporarily held for moderation and will automatically be rechecked later.
Please check your Akismet configuration and contact your web host if problems persist."
This is the message I´m getting should I do something in Akismet configuration, what is an API Key?
Hi,
The Akismet key is required to activate the plugin. Here is the address to their site: https://akismet.com/wordpress/. Look for the free account.
Without the key, you cannot activate the application to make the plugin work. Once you have an assigned key, you can use the same key over and over for every new WA website you create.
Hope this helps.

Someone just ask me on my site to exchange links, it´s someone that has a coupon site, is that ok or can it get me or my site into trouble?
Is this coupon site at all related to your blog's niche? If not, I wouldn't even consider it. Without some relation between the sites, search engines could easily consider these to be spammy links, especially if this coupon site is linking to hundreds (or thousands) of other unrelated sites.
I don't think should exchange links, your site is your own property, you have your own control whether any info should be exchanged or not. Unless it's pretty link, a pretty link which does not display your referral links [only if doing affiliate marketing], affiliate ID info, that's actually great. You can always shorten your links in bitly.com if is for the exchange of links

When I finish lesson 1/10 in my last task I was asked to make a post, at the end the format said add a tag and name, so I did but don´t know exactly what´s the purpose if it.
Tags are words used to describe your post in more detail.
Let's say your post is about the general broad category of "Food".
Your tags would be specific to what you are writing about, e.g.
pizza, steak, salads, etc.
In other words, categories are broad and generic; tags are narrower and more specific. I guess you can say that tags are sub-categories.
When adding a post here in WA, you would only enter tags, whereas on your website you would first create a category, and adding tags is optional.
Generally on your website you need to have only 5 or 6 generic categories but you can have tags for each post and end up with quite a few tags on your website overall.
