You can absolutely promote WA, but this still involves creating a website and creating content. The process is exactly the same, except your topics will be related to WA.
The Affiliate Bootcamp training curriculum under the Training tab teaches this process step by step.

You can indeed.
You can promote WA on your About Me post if you choose your interest niche. You may then include a paragraph middle of the page or towards the end, adding a few features about the benefits of joining the WA platform. You can hyperlink your unique affiliate link there, which you can fetch via the $ sign top menu.
Or you may change your direction to promoting the Wealthy Affiliate platform. The Exciting Journey Has Begun You would also need a direction. Target Audiences for Wealthy Affiliate

New AGAIN to WA
This is for newbies to WA....
As a beginner myself, I have found it easier if I open up 2 tabs to WA . The first one I use to listen/watch the training, the 2nd tab I use to do what is being discussed in the 1st tab. Hope this helps a little!
What niche are you considering?
I think of something I am passionate and genuinely interested in, I know lots about and can create succinct original content addressing issues in relation.
For example, workout exercises for beginners.
When deciding on a niche try to narrow it down to a more specific niche; you can ask yourself the following question:
So I want to help people with ____________________ ?
Fill in the blank, and you will get closer to a specific audience. A Niche is A Group of People Looking for Stuff

Once I’ve completed the training, am I allowed to to post items on my website from clickbank or other places
I understand that I join different affiliate programs such as Walmart, Amazon and promote the items i choose on my WA website? Please correct me if I am incorrect.
You can indeed.
You would want content and traffic before applying to affiliate programs, as they would check your website for those elements before approval..
You can do a google search
Your niche + affiliate programs
Your niche + affiliate programs + location
and see what results you get

I realize I may be jumping the gun a bit but once I become successful at this, how are state, federal & ss taxes taken care of, how about health insurance that i would need to pay?
