Behind every Mom Blogger is.

There's a saying that is said to have originated in the mid-1940's (possibly referring to Eleanor Roosevelt) that goes something like this:

"Behind every Great Man is a Great Woman"

I'm taking some poetic license today and saying this:

Behind every Mom Blogger is a Supportive Spouse

And for those Single Moms who are blogging their hearts out too, feel free to insert

Supportive Friend,

Supportive Mentor or

Supportive Mother.

Because there's definitely someone...right?

I can't imagine any of us can do this completely alone.

(And I am fortunate to have ALL of these).

Blogging is hard work.

Especially at the beginning when you're doing EVERYTHING yourself.

You're doing your own keyword research, article research, finding images, creating social media images, writing content, sharing on social media, building a following on social media, creating an email list, getting to grips with SEO, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Domain Authority, figuring out how to monetize and and and...

Phew! And some Moms are doing all this while holding down a day job...AND being wife and mother. RESPECT.

Blogging and Mommying can take you to the edge at times.

So today... I'm taking a moment to acknowledge that very special someone in my life, who has supported me and continues to support as my create my online empire.

My Husband.

It was my husband who paid for my first Annual subscription to Wealthy Affiliate.

It was my husband who pays for my data packages so I can work online.

It was my husband who took care of all my expenses for the first 4 years of our son's life.

And it's my husband who'll be buying me a shiny brand new laptop tomorrow.

Just in time. Before mine crashes. There have been plenty of warning signs.

Which brings me to my next point...

Behind every Mom Blogger is a Patient Partner

It's taken me a lot longer than either of us expected for me to start earning money as a Mom Blogger.

And, although I'm now earning money from my 3 blogs, it's still not really enough to make a material difference to our family expenses.

I haven't cracked that first $1000 month yet, as I'd hoped.

My husband has been so very patient.

Here's to My Husband

When you meet someone who stands by you through thick and thin, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health... hold on to them for dear life.

Who can you acknowledge today for their role in your journey?

To Your Success

PS. My husband is a very private man so it's likely he'll ask me to take that last picture down tomorrow. This is probably the only picture you will ever see of him. I already have a replacement image prepared.

The ahhhh inspiring partners in our lives! Sweet post Lauren and reminds me too that if it were not for the amazing partner in my life, the things I love right now, Wealthy Affiliate and Roller Derby would be non-existent!

So sweet to identify with and appreciate the gifts your hubby shares with you and can only imagine it's because of the results you have enabled in your own and others lives', such as me - yay!

Time is precious, and your patience, and daily contributions will certainly pay-off for you someday!

That's a lovely post Lauren :)

Ahh Lauren, congrats on your new puter! but mostly that no matter what you never give up..and grateful that you have a partner that is so there for you. May you always live in the blessings of this joy and love. hugs to you my dear friend.

Aw, Thanks Ariel! Yes, I am thrilled! And oh so grateful. Feeling incredibly spoilt right now.

A beautiful acknowledgment, Lauren. The people we live with can make all the difference on our path to success.

Jenny

Thanks Jenny! I am. My hubby just delivered my new laptop while I was in the middle of an interview with an Inspiring Granpreneur. Exciting times!!

That's awesome, no stopping you now. I would love a new computer, I think mine is from the Jurassic period!! LOL.
Enjoy you day and your laptop.
Jenny

Hehe... my old one too, Jenny. For about 18 months it's had no fan so I get a warning message every time I start it up. Been too worried it would burn-out if I tried backing up all my data Plus it's FULL to the brim (mostly photos and videos) so I can only store stuff on Dropbox. The "M" key is missing on the keyboard (my little one removed it when he was about 2. He's 4 and a half now). Hehe. THRILLED to have a new laptop! Been so concerned it will crash. Phew! RELIEF.

Who needs the letter "m" anyway, right? hehe. Seriously now, the old computer served you well, but sounds like it was on it's last legs, much longer and it could have been a disaster!! Enjoy your new shiny friend.
Jenny

Haha, yeah, that would make me an O blogger... what fun.

Thanks, Jenny. Will do! My hubby is busy getting it ready for me! Can't wait to get my hands on that new keyboard. :)

Thanks Lauren, lovely post and I am pleased you clarified the images!

Have a wonderful one!
