I found sneaker shoes as my niche to promote on my 1st website. Would it be wise to affiliate with multiple brands or choose just one? Should I go with Nike? Reebok? Adidas? Or
thanks guys. I appreciate the feed back. I asks this question because I'm promoting to people who buy sneakers for fashion sense. Their are folks who buy certain brands and their are others who buy the hottest or latest trends in sneakers. So the people I'm trying to funnel are not people who are looking for shoes for anything specific use (running, hiking, basketball, etc.) But are looking for shoes to wear for fashion.
I would include several brands so you can write review blogs for each different style. You can also write blogs on "5 best running shoes" comparing the different brands.
Whatever you do don't include a brand name as part of your domain name.
Good Day, Lando.
Thanks for asking this interesting question.
IMHO, it may be best to focus on one brand and get to know that brand very well.
It would also be to your advantage to be very specific about some particular aspect of your brand.
Narrow down your niche to track shoes, running shoes, etc...
This will help you gain access to a "specific" audience, hence, your niche!

I would stick with one brand for one purpose.
Pick the best of the best for each purpose.
A walking shoe is different than a shoe a marathoner would choose.
There are different price rangesl What is best in each price range.
You can also promote accessories for runners. Anything from heart monitors to hydration backpacks.
Should I promote one brand or multiple brands for my niche?

You know just like people want to have choices in flavors of ice cream. I would think the same is true of sneakers. Promoting loads of types also shows that you are more of an authority and willing to showcase whatever is currently the fashion fad. I wish you great luck.

I wanted to change my domain name for the link to my website, but I don't know how. The reason is I changed the name of my website, so I need my domain name to match.
I
Do you actually want to change the domain or just add a title or tag line to change the domain you would have to either buy a domain or contact support, If you want to add a title to your site go to the dashboard and and go down to appearance, you will see a drop down menu click on Customize, and then click on Header
Setting's, there you will find Title, Tagline, an Logo or something to that effect, There will be a Title line which is what you want your site title to be and a tag line, which I use for something that goes with with my site, If your site has a name for it at the top and you don't want to use that one then you can change that here, Hope this helps
You can't change the domain name but you can change the site name. Domain name is permanent once you purchased it.
I don't think it's major issue unless you want to buy another domain.
:)
Joe
It's the free domain for right now. But if it's all the same, then I got it covered. Thanks!
Ohhhh... then you are covered.
so your site domain is like https://yoursite.siterubix.com
If you might consider create a new site and transfer the first site.
:)
Joe
HI Lando, is this a domain name that you have purchased? If so, then you can't change that.
If you're still working on a siterubix.com site then you could potentially just delete it and create a new site with the domain name that you would like. Of course I don't know how much work you've put in yet but that is one way around it.
Let's hear what others suggest.
Brian
Buy a new one with the new name and then transfer your website to the new domain. Be careful, though; the new name may not be available as a domain. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the info. 2ndly, can I delete my 1st website once I transfer everything? Not only do I want to change this website, but I want to get rid of the very 1st one I made. I want to rethink my m niche with that one.

It's recommended that you keep the website for at least 30 days after you transfer. After that, you are free to delete it.
