You are having lots of questions....
And actually I do not understand your question, because when the original theme would not load, I do not think that you would be able to see anything of your site.
And the goal of a child theme is to overwrite the settings of the original or parent theme without deleting the original info in the parent theme, so actually it sounds logic that you only see the child theme options....
Or did I missed something in your question?

Bert, I am needing a lot of answers, as I am aware of the amount of questions love. I am loading a custom theme. The parent will not load. Last time I used it on a word press build, ( which was very recently) it loaded fine. Not it wont for what ever the reason. The child will load but the parent keeps running into error. I tested the child and loaded it as if that file was going to load it would request at the bottom of the WP themes page that I add the parent. It did. However the parent would still not load. Not sure why. The theme is Kleo. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. #love2U
Yeah finally got it. Support told me how to load it to the FTP and then I guess they did the rest! Problem finally solved! YAAAAY :) Thanks man! I am getting spoiled seeing that Orange and blue avi! Now if I don't see it, I am going to be, total chick fit~ Like OMG where's BERT! Ahhhhh! :) LOL #Love2U Thanks again for following through this with me.

So Im still having issues with one of my sites becuase of the host I had prior. I checked a log and I saw this. Anyone else find something very strange about this?? Looks like
ok so someone did hack me and mess around with my ip. The big fix for that was running a auto fix from microsoft, ( since I could not even do ipconfig release and reset) and the installing a program called surf easy which actually is working better than HMA another sort of VPN program. I do not know why this all works. I am not techy but, the issue has not returned and I am able to log in. Also I used this product and it worked so I am very certain that it is a worthy affiliate opportunity that one might be proud to offer on their site. i may even offer it on mine.
! THING FIXED I have more then one issue but this FIXED THE NON_ABILITY TO release/renew the ipconfig : No Network Connection (Information) through IPCONFIG after Update Installation https://social.technet.microsoft.com
LOL this is NOT how I want to learn. But I did end up talking to a guy today who was trying to help and I told him I wanted to learn to build my own environment and understand this hosting stuff. He was like OK! and he emailed me some free training stuff. Isn't that cool? This issue might end up teaching me to be a tech for real! I love when problems lead me down cool paths.

Not sure, but it sounds like an application patch? I would do a Google search to see if it is a legitimate program or not..

Hi LadyRayne. That is the length of time your device will have it's current IP address. The renewal will occur automatically. This happens on all (well, on most) end user systems because the IP address is dynamically assigned. The IP address is assigned by what is called a DHCP server. If you'd like more detailed information, please feel free to contact me. :)
SO, if I put in a ticket on like the 19th and they still hadn't fixed it on the 20th. So I asked them to escalate it to a manager, and the manager says to me when I log back in on the 23rd that I should upgrade by the 1st. Is it safe to say that something is wrong with these dates? And a what in the world does lease obtained mean? By the way #love2U and I am grateful for all the help I am getting here. Just really frustrated with what I think I see with my prior Host.

Well now Im good I think. Still working at it. I think they just made some changes the ultimately blocked me out of my own site and a post site-ground posted went bot crazy and all this comment action started up and made some huge issue. So I just have to fix my own stuff. No more tickets and more tickets.

No idea on this, I would check with your Internet provider or with the router support folks, all the above sounds like it is associated with that?
Just to add to what Bert said - what you posted doesn't relate to having a hosting problem with one of your sites.
What was the hosting issue and what did you try to do to resolve it?
Well I think my ip got hacked. The response of the tech is the only reason. I posted this same thing to him and asked "What does this mean, since my website has certain Ip's blocked, is this what is affecting my ability to get into my site? He says "Your provider changed your ip" ??? I check and call. "I come back to the ticket and say...No no such change has been made by the provider. I post the log again. I simply ask can you explain what all this is? His response. "well there is no way we can change your ip" ?? I think to myself, I never even said any thing about him changing my ip. But I don't say anything to him. While I'm still thinking about it he says. Well once you renew upgrade you'll be able to use your account again. or something to that degree. So I ask what date is my renewal? he says Nov 1st. I look at the log and see this

She did not read your question well: see How do I get my .house and .exposure sites switched over? There is a technology called DNSSEC and that is probably the problem... But I think difficult to resolve when not available on the server already....
I read the question I said my ip was blocked form my website, from within the C-panel. Plus I got brute force attacked, like I had all this traffic. So I blocked the ip where that was coming from because after I got all the traffic the Host said "Upgrade, you are getting to much traffic." So I fixed the issue and then, somehow my ip got locked out of the website. So they supposedly fixed the issue. Oh I forgot to say #love2u and Thanks. I am so mad and frustrated. I think I am fine getting in now. But I switched hosts and went back to ask them to reverse everything they did. Testing it now but it looks good so far. I still would love to know what that was all about! Time to take a class or 2. I don't want this to keep happing and I cant fix it.
The host ended up telling me they changed the ip's that where blocked from the site. Not sure who told them to block mine, but whatever. Its reversed I think. I hope. because now that I read how to check and try to look to see I cant.
I still cannot access those 2 sites, maybe it is to quick and it just will take some more time before the new address is replicated to all dns servers....
Cause I think that's what you want to say, that your 2 sites are available again?
Well those are with a different host. I think I have to leave them there. I tried to add them here and the siteRubix asked for a TLD

The config looks like the standard config of a home router/modem, but the only thing that is not correct are the DNS settings, the provider is not filled in, but the Local networkgroup is and I assume you do not have a DNS server at home... ;-)
It should be something like this:
DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : provider.com
Start with an Ipconfig /renew
If that does not help, I would reboot router/modem
And if you still don't receive a good dns setting: Reset router/modem
Still not ok: contact provider...

No I don't have a DNS LOL Yeah I was thinking of renewing the ip. But I wonder if that will fix the issue since they told me they blocked certain Ip's. So I said to them, please reverse anything you have done while we have had your service. Basically. But if they clocked my ip from my website..... ? Now what?
Talking about a coincidence: My internet provider (which a really good one and this almost never happens) failed an hour ago and my internet went down, so no problem, I just connect with the internet thru tethering on my phone and after a while a see the internet of my provider seems to be up again...
I disconnect from my phone and reconnect to my providers modem, but again no internet and I got DNS resolve screens, so I check my config and I had just the same config as you have: DNS 192.168.0.1
and, of course, the internet was still down....
So you get this configuration because your modem cannot connect with internet config of provider...
That's the reason, just had it myself...

When this happened was your internet running? Mine is running fine both wifi and lan and I still get this. Ipconfig release and renew give errors that tell me the path and or module can not be found. But the file is there it may be corrupt but that's my next move to take the DLL out of the 32 move it to the 64 then I have to reload the exe. This is a major mess. I see a million people are having this issue. Also Team viewer was running. I had to uninstall it completely! I am so tired of this but its still going on and on
No at my place it was the internet that didn't work anymore....
Also a good one to try in your situation: remove the network adapters and let them reinstall again...

The good news is: the domains are still yours! ;-)

But (and I am not an expert myself) the difference between a classic GTLD and a new GTLD is that the new ones need to support DNSSEC and I think that is the reason why you can not move your sites, there are codes in the DNSSEC that has to changed.
I would contact your domain registrant and ask how to solve this...

Oh man! THANK YOU! I think the issue is WA may not support the DNSSEC! Maybe they will later? I hope. In the meantime those sites won't be going up. :( I have to find a decent hosting company for those 2 sites. my http://www.thenewmovement.com site keeps getting brute forced attacked and when I dig into it its always the hosting company trying to force an upgrade. I feel like I was being chased by vampires and WA is church ground! I can breath! I wonder how I'm going to find a home for those sites where the same thing doesn't happen. I already changed once and boom the other company did the same thing.
The lack of ethics is a real issue for us. Services have really been bad to us and hit us from every side every time we gain any success. I've been at this and not giving up for years. Did you already try to upload the parent with FTP?
