I worked in Hong Kong for four years before being made redundant and relocating back to the UK. Before that, I worked in the UK doing basic clerical stuff.
Like many others, I dream of being able to earn an income without having to go back to the rat race, so I decided to sign up at Wealthy Affiliate and see what it's all about.

For me, £100 (roughly $150) per month would be a great start. I know people at WA say it is possible to make money online, but actual tangible proof would go a long way to convince the naysayer in me that it is true.
Earning £750 per month (roughly $1250), would mean I've fully replaced the net income (after tax, travel expenses and so on) from my first real office job. For my current circumstances, that's plenty. Anything else after that is gravy.
With me being effectively unemployed until my next freelancing gig, I certainly have the spare time to devote to building a business. A realistic figure to start of with would be around 35 hours per week spread out however is convenient. If I aspire to a full time income, I will need to work full time hours. If I aspire to great success, I will need to include a bit of overtime on top of that as well.
