Hey Wealthy Affiliate family,

We’ve officially entered the Creator Era, a time where building a brand, launching a product, growing a following, and turning ideas into businesses is more achievable than ever before.

The excuses are shrinking. The tools are more powerful. The barriers are lower.

This is a take off of my idea from earlier this week, where we are entering the "Great Reset"within the online world, where every can do more than ever, create things they could have never created, and solo entrepreneurs can run businesses that conventionally would have taken 100 people to run.

So this week’s challenge is about one simple idea:

If you could create anything, what would it be?

Your Challenge:

  1. Share a Big Idea You’ve Always Wanted to Build
This could be a product, a niche site, an app, a brand, a YouTube channel, a movement, whatever you’ve thought about but never followed through on.
  2. Explain What Held You Back (Until Now)
Was it time? Knowledge? Cost? Confidence? Share why it stayed on the shelf.
  3. Tell Us What You’d Like to Learn or Master to Make It Happen
With AI tools and support at your fingertips inside WA, what’s the one skill or resource that would finally help you bring this idea to life?
  4. Like 3 Other Comments. Which ideas do you like the best? Smash the like button and show the best ideas your love!

Prizes.

The top 5 most liked entries will each receive:

  • $75 in AI Credits

Use these to bring your vision to life with content, branding, automation, or research.

Key Details:

  • Open to all members: Starter, Premium, and Premium Plus+
  • Challenge Dates: Starts Wednesday, June 4th, and ends Tuesday, June 10th
  • Post early to give yourself more time to collect likes.

Why This Challenge Matters

We’ve all had those “million-dollar ideas” that never made it past the notebook. But we’re now in a world where you can take that idea and start building within a day, even within an hour, with the help of AI, templates, automation, and a community that has your back. This is only going to get easier, as the AI tech advances (and it is moving FAST).

This challenge is about turning “someday” into “now.”

Get clear on what you want to build, and let this community help you make it real.

Let’s start this Creator Era by sharing the big ideas that matter to us, and the steps we’re ready to take to bring them to life. I have shared one of my ideas below.

This project is currently in progress with my newfound friend in GPT.

Dino Minds

My Big Idea:
I am currently underway to build DinoMinds, a digital brand and niche site that transforms kids’ curiosity about dinosaurs into early STEM engagement. Think of it as a fun, educational world where kids (and parents) can explore fossils, science-backed facts, printable activities, and even AI-generated dinosaur field trips. Maybe even the occasional coloring book I have been working on.

What it will include:

-Interactive dinosaur maps (where to find museums in every U.S. state)
-Kid-safe fossil kits and activity bundles
-A blog written from the perspective of a curious dino-hunting kid
-STEM-aligned curriculum downloads for teachers and homeschoolers
-YouTube shorts narrated by dinosaurs themselves (AI-voiced, of course)

What Held Me Back (Until Now):

Time.
I wear a lot of hats, and turning this into something truly polished felt like it would take a team. But now, with AI tools like voiceovers, image generation, and content writing, plus WA’s community support, I know I can run this like a solo content studio.

What I Want to Learn or Master:

I’d love to master email automation for educational audiences, so I can grow a parent-teacher list and send out weekly “Dino Dives,” fun facts, and STEM tips disguised as adventure. Although I am well-versed in email marketing, perfecting the craft with AI through copy creation is speeding up the process.

I am currently creating pins for Pinterest to establish a foothold there. It will all come together eventually, forcing me to stop so I can structure my website for everything it needs. Like a new theme, Kadence was a poor choice for this idea, as it is not designed for smooth scrolling, which I need for interaction.

Really cool idea. Now, let's build it!

Construction is in progress!

I was reading your idea about dinosaurs . I have something that might of interest to you .Drumheller is the badlands of Alberta is the self-proclaimed world capital of dinosaurs. I have been there . check it out

let me know what you think

Please let me know when it’s available. I love... dinosaurs! 🦖❤️

My daughter loves dinosaurs!

I will certainly look into this.

I will indeed. Something else to research and write about for me. Thanks for pointing it out.

Michael

Will do.

I am doing it for my Grandkids and their fascination with them.

Some people have MOBILE EXHIBITS...you could incorporate them, possibly be an affiliate together, a mobile exhibit could go to BIRTHDAY PARTIES or on a larger scale school IN HOUSE FIELD TRIPS. ( Which of course were huge during covid)

Great idea

Big Idea I’ve Always Wanted to Build

I’ve always been drawn to the idea of a modern-day retreat—a quiet space where people can step away from the online world and reconnect with something slower and more real. Not a permanent move, just a break—a reset for the mind.

It wouldn’t be spiritual or overly structured—just calm, grounded, and human. A few animals, simple surroundings, garden-grown food maybe. A space where you can breathe without needing to check your phone every five minutes.

One of my inspirations is Bamidele Onibalusi. He built a freelance writing career and later started a fish farm—choosing something offline, tangible, and peaceful. That mix of earning online while living calmly offline really speaks to me.

What Held Me Back (Until Now)

I’ve never managed land (other than grass in the garden) or lived off-grid, and honestly, it feels overwhelming, yet so inviting. I’ve spent so long in digital spaces that the physical, practical side of something like this has always felt just out of reach.

But I'm noticing that’s changing.

With the way tools are evolving—especially AI—I’m finding I can learn and act faster than ever. Just recently, I used tech to help identify weeds around a memorial tree I planted, with forget-me-nots at the base. Something small, but it showed me that the knowledge gap isn’t as wide as it used to be. That gave me confidence: I don’t need to know everything now. I just need to start doing things - get the knowledge online to make things happen offline.

What I’d Like to Learn or Master to Make It Happen

I would like to understand the basics of managing a space like this—utilities, land care, making it welcoming. And on the flip side, I’d love to build up consistent digital income streams—through SEO, content, or simple digital products—so the retreat isn’t just a passion project, but sustainable. I’ve seen some members who do full-time RV living while running their businesses online, and their lifestyle inspires me (even though I don't drive), showing how the online world can truly support a flexible, offline life without being tied to a screen.

Something I've been wanting to create are children's book and content for curly girls. If you know the hair number/letter system I'm talking about girls with type 2 and more so type 3 hair. If not, I'm talking about hair that is more like long barrel curls rather than tight afro or straight hair. Its like in the middle hair.

Its hard to find celebrities or main stream people with this hair type because of all the styling and staging involved. But if you grew up or lived in the 90s think Mariah Carey when she FIRST came out, Micheal Jackson jerry curls (is that how you spell jerry curls? lol ^^; ), or even 80s hippie hair.

Particularly because my daughters have type 3 hair and there's literally hardly any content that depicts girls with big, barrel curl type curls. Childhood really is the foundation of our lives so that's why I want to do children's books.

I've done some sketches myself and I could probably draw it out. My daughter & others loves my artwork but with my baby and life I just don't have the time to draw.

I strongly believe that representation for people with this type of hair is important. Its gorgeous and I always worry my daughters won't see it because of media attention being on other types of hair. Hair is a pinnacle of style so it does matter how we feel about it.

Anyway, I want to write a series of books or comics either with curly hair and other diverse kids or/& books highlighting the beauties & challenges of curly hair.

For instance, one that just came to mind is 'Ow, Why Does The Brush Make My Head Hurt'. That's a good one because curly hair can get really tangled and detangling isn't fun for the kid or parents. But maybe helping the kid to understand that if they let their parents maintain their hair during the week it wouldn't get so tangled.

Idk, something like that. Its a work in progress but I still struggle with my oldest daughter to get her to understand this.

So I want to learn to us AI to create images which is somewhat my nemesis, though I have tried it a bit to create curly hair content on another of my platforms.

It is something near and dear to my heart that my daughters and other curly hair people, girls and guys, have representation. And as someone who loves diversity, I want to see all types of individuals, dress, styles and culture. Things get boring when everything looks the same.

My Big Idea: The WA Mentor Bot
Hey Wealthy Affiliate family, what an inspiring challenge for this new Creator Era! I think WA all the time because I know it is the best way for beginner and intermediate affiliate marketers to learn the affiliate marketing business. My big idea is near to my heart and something I believe could benefit almost every member of this community, from brand new Starters to seasoned veterans.

The Big Idea You’ve Always Wanted to Build

I believe deeply in the power of individual mentorship. And if I could I would create the WA Mentor Bot, a personalized AI guide integrated directly into the Wealthy Affiliate platform.

We are all at varying levels in our journey. Some of us have been here for years, some come in with existing skills, while others are starting from zero. The WA Mentor Bot would tailor our activities to the exact level we’re at. For example, if someone is in the website-building phase and starts stressing about marketing, the bot would know their progress and gently remind them, “Hey, you have to build it before people can come to see it.”

This mentor could also help you find your unique voice, which is crucial for overcoming imposter syndrome. It could offer validation when you're on the right track ("You've got this!") or provide constructive feedback when you've missed a step ("You're not quite there yet.").

Furthermore, it would help members discover the incredible value we have here. Premium here means premium because we get so much, but many people never uncover all the tools at their disposal, like Niche Finder, Hubs, or Site Health. The bot could recommend specific actions to take, videos to watch, or tools to use based on exactly where we are in our business journey. It would ensure that the right information gets to us at the right time, making the lessons stick.

What Held You Back (Until Now)

Honestly, the main thing that has held me back is the sheer technical complexity. My passion lies in marketing Wealthy Affilate, not in advanced programming. Building a truly intelligent and responsive AI bot that needs to be seamlessly integrated with the entire Wealthy Affiliate platform requires a deep knowledge of coding, AI development, and API integration. It’s a project that is clearly beyond my technical skillset and resources.

What You’d Like to Learn or Master to Make It Happen

To bring the WA Mentor Bot to life, the single most important skill I would need to master is AI development and integration. With the rise of AI tools and the support here at WA, I'd love to learn how to work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and train one on the incredible wealth of knowledge already inside this platform. Learning how to connect that AI to our user profiles and training progress would be the key to making this idea a reality.

This tool could truly help turn “someday” into “now” for so many of us. It would have to be deeply connected to everything WA offers... and if someone builds it, I’m using it! 😊

Mentor bot, love it. And definitely something that we could leverage.

1. A creators cooperative buzzing together
2. The right timing
3. Co-creators in their field (drop me a note, if you feel called)

〰️

felt called for almost 2 decades :)

My Creator Era Big Idea: Nature Walk Audio Story Maps

If I could build anything with today’s creator tools, I’d make “Nature Walk Audio Story Maps”—an app (or web platform) that transforms everyday walks in parks, towns, or neighborhoods into immersive adventures. Picture this: as you stroll, your phone automatically plays short audio stories about the exact spot you’re standing in—local legends, nature facts, even community-submitted memories. It’s part folklore, part digital walking buddy, and all about helping people connect with the places around them.

What’s held me back (until now)?
The tech piece! I’ve never built an app or worked with GPS/audio triggers before, so it always felt out of reach. I also wondered: where would I find stories, and how would I encourage people to share theirs?

What I want to learn/master:
I’d love to get my hands on no-code tools or AI helpers to build a simple prototype (even just a web version with audio links or QR codes). I want to learn the basics of digital audio (recording/editing), and get better at sparking community participation—because the real magic is in everyone sharing their stories, not just me!

Why now?
With AI and creator tools, it finally feels doable. I could map out a demo walk, record some “starter” stories, and invite locals to add their voices. If it helps one person see their neighborhood in a new way, that’s a win in my book.

Bring on the Creator Era—let’s make our everyday lives a little more magical, one story at a time.

Sonia

Wow that would be interesting. I wouldn't mind a true crime version as its a fair share of my reading list.

Love that idea Sonia, very interesting!

Sounds fantastic, Sonia! I'd love to see this:)

I love looking at maps. This sounds way better.

Teri

That, hands down, beats my walking meditation tracks. Countless times, I've come across unusual finds on walks and Googled it, but that's just the stuff I've noticed. There's definitely loads of things I haven't noticed that I'd love to hear the stories about.
