Thank you for these pointers for the various ways to get traffic to our websites. There is a vast amount of training here in addition to the things we can do outside of the community to get results.

Google ads are expensive, but I have discovered that they can be beneficial if handled the right way. There is a learning curve for that.

Haha, I am not the best either. I am sure I could figure it out though if I invested a bit more time and energy to it. :)

Work on getting those lanes congested, because when they are it will only yield a great deal of opportunity. And the beautiful part is there is opportunity to fill up your lanes in absolutely any niche. Lots of traffic opportunities out there!

Hi Kyle, Happy Monday!

Yep, traffic, traffic, traffic. I dream about it. 😴

There are so many ways to get to it, but there is the danger of spreading yourself too thinly, I've found. So, for 3 months now, I've been focusing on my 4 websites and 2 SM platforms. It's amazing how much more you discover if you stay longer on SM and how your connections/audience grows. I've managed to get together a 500-member email list in 3 months on LinkedIn because I live there, participate in 47 groups and 3 communities, and run LIVE Events.

I love the idea of drilling deep to find a loyal audience, but not all SM platforms are suitable for everyone.

I also now realise the importance of offering value to get attention, so it's crucial to be able to create ebooks or lead magnets at the drop of a hat. Ebooks, especially LIVE ebooks (these can change and be expanded to offer broader perspectives or follow Events as tey unfold, etc.), have never been so popular.

Finally, I've learned that the more I can be myself, the more people I attract. This is liberating: I'm enough exactly as I am! People desperately need real people to interact with now, with the rise of AI and cyber relationships, which are the future.

I'm thoroughly enjoying being swept along on the Digital Revolution Bore Wave!!

Absolutely, you are getting the flow here. Find a platform that you want to get traffic on, offer value there, build a base of followers and traffic.

This process can apply to any platforms, and there are many places that people hang out these days, whether that is linkedin, google, tiktok, youtube etc...where if you offer value, and you establish footing there.

This can happen anywhere, and there are so many sources of relevant traffic in any niche that you are going to be able to take advantage of.

I have been working on my sites for the year I have been with WA. A mere 36 articles posted on the main site, but continuing to work on more weekly. Maybe it's time to utilize a different medium to drive traffic.

Excellent, sounds like you are really starting to build things up. Ideally you will posting content (for SEO purposes) with frequency. That will lead to more authority, rankings, and results in terms of SEO. Think of each article as a potential "traffic tentacle"...the more that you have out there, the more traffic reach you potentially have. ;)
