I Am Back!
Back in June, I posted that I would be leaving WA temporarily due to some health issues. I had been contemplating my return, as I have a couple of ideas for additional webites as well as ideas for the website I had built during the time that I had been here. And, I will be totally honest -- I looked into other options for those ideas as well. Different hosting platforms, blogging platforms, etc!
When it came time to make a decision, it appeared that there was only one true solution -- TO GET BACK INTO THE WONDERFUL WA COMMUNITY AND GET TO WORK!!
Yes, I still have some lingering effects from my ruptured brain aneurysm in October 2017. But now that I am almost 1 year into this journey of my life, it is time to learn how to work with and around those effects! During the past 3 months, I have had a few new answers to issues and a couple of new diagnoses, as well as a few medication changes. I am now using a cane to walk due to arthritis pain that has increased dramatically! But deep down, I am still the same person who wants to help others and I believe the best way to do that is to tell my story.
With today's medical knowledge and advances, 60% of the people who have a brain aneurysm rupture actually survive. That in itself is amazing! However, there is a lack of information out there to tell people what to expect after the rupture is taken care of and how to move on with their lives!
So I am ready to start again! I might be a bit slower that I was the first time around, but I am more determined than ever! So thanks in advance for being here as I make my return!

Good Morning Kristin,
Welcome back! I think you look really nice in the photo, both of you and I love your son's cat shirt. With best wishes.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske
Thank you! Actually, my to-do list for today includes changing that photo, but it is also one of my faves! Good to hear from you!
Hi, Kristin, I think you have climbed Mt Everest that is an amazing life story, and all the very best wishes as you reconnect and start creating your online presence around your chosen topic, I would say that there will be plenty of folks waiting to read and share with you.
Thank you! That is my hope as well! And I think it will be quite therapeutic for myself as well!
I am happy for you being on the road to recovery and pray that you are on the way to a complete recovery.
Bob
Thank you, Bob! From the research I have done, I have found varying answers on the length of time to hit the point where things will stop improving --ranging from 6 months to several years! So I guess it is up to me to see how far I can push things!
That's great news to hear. Glad you are on the mend...all with the right mind set. Keep that determination going.
Debbie
Thank you, Debbie! The simple fact of clicking on the button to come back had me feeling like I was at home...that says a lot to me!!
