I've gotten some notifications recently about trackbacks to my articles and asking it I want to approve them or block them or what not. I want to approve them, but I can't tell
Recently received trackbacks.are they legit or spam?

Did you go to the page? You should be able to tell pretty quickly if it looks like quality content.
Hmmm... that may be a valid point. Hadn't thought of that. A good antivirus software will likely block it for you. You can also put the domain into a google search and it will come up with a notification if google has flagged it for malware. I also recommend using AdBlocker plus in general which will add some protection. None of those are guaranteed, but they should help.
@Numerous attached is a screenshot of some that I have...what do you think? I mean at first glance they look pretty shady.
LOL oh yeah. Those are definitely all spam. At least one isn't even in English. Another one is for games or something. Yeah don't accept any of those.

I need to see if my persmissions on my Wordpress uploads folder is 755. How do I do this?
I don't know of a way of checking permissions through wordpress on WA hosting. (In all likelihood, those are the settings though.) A quick support ticket should confirm that.
The 755 setting provides the following permissions:
7 = owner (you) can read, write, and execute on files in the folder
5 = group members (not sure who these might be in this context) can only read and execute
5 = anyone else can only read and execute
This setting prevents anyone but you (as the owner) from writing to files in the directory.
Are you talking about a folder in Windows? if Yes then right click on the folder and go to security
We don't have this kind of access here, they will need to open a SiteSupport ticket for help.

I'm sorry if there is already another post about this, and I'm still going through the training, but is there any information on how to set up an Amazon Affiliate Niche site, f
Type 'amazon' into the question box at the top of this page and you'll find lots of stuff.
I tried search off my phone last night, and it didn't bring anything up...which is why I posted this question. But, from a computer, I see the search has lots of results! Thank you!
This training has helped me, hope it do the same for you. How do icreate an amazon affiliate niche site? Bishop
Have you checked out the online entrepreneur certification courses? They show you step by step how to setup a niche site. What are your interests? For instance, mine is music production, so my niche is software related music production products. Think about your niche, and start the certification courses. Ask if you need help. I'll help if you need me.
Well I have a few interests, but I saw someone else post a question about affiliate products, including Amazon. So, I was wondering if there was any training specifically for that...
