I know I can transfer the domain name to WA just by pointing name servers to WA. My question is the site is currently on WIX where I have a mailbox set up with google and can

Hi

Has your site has content? because as far as am aware WIX is not compatible with WordPress

A com dot au can be transferred however pointed to WA servers.

And if no content you may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $14, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

Once site is pointed successfully to WA servers, then you can create a webmail for forward to mailbox

Hi I have done this a number of times before and I am sure I am not doing anything different this time, but I keep getting this error message after entering my custom namesaver

Kristine, Are you locked? I tried switching 2 from somewhere else to W A and found out they were locked until Feb. 8. Hope it straightens out for you.

I bought a domain on Godaddy.com.
Then I tried to transfer the domain to WA, I ended up paying $ for it to WA, but the transfer was unsuccessful.
So then I tried doing it

Having similar problems myself as I had a WP site active on another DNS server.
I have had the DNS setting changed so they point to WA but I'm kind of stuck where to go next...

I tried transferring, then I tried to point dns nameservers but it didn't work?

I can add links to my pages or posts, but am unsuccessful whenever I try to put in an Amazon text only html code for a specific product.

Is this possible, or am I just do

You can link to things within your comments and your replies to comments, if I am within an review, for example my WA review, I will on occasion link to an affiliate link.

You can most definitely link from your comments to reviews that you have created on your website as well. There is nothing wrong with this and it can lead to people taking action. It has to make sense though, so don't stuff links where they don't fit. You will want to naturally link to other pages/posts or affiliate links.

That makes perfect sense. Thanks so much Kyle!
Cheers, Kris

Thanks Kyle.

Hi Kris, Great question and I am anxious to see what others will suggest, as this is something I have not tried.

Wayne

Hi Kris, links can be used in moderation. Irv.

I think Kyle has got you covered on this one Kris.
Terry

you got it covered :-))

Affiliate links like Amazon should only be used on your own website. You can direct people there from your social media channels.

On your own post make sure you put the html code in your text tab not your visual tab...

Cheers, I guess I should link to a product review rather than straight to amazon hey.
thanks, Kris

Thats true what tommy mention, I might have misunderstood your question ...

Yep thanks Anthony, I meant putting the links in a comment reply. I already place them throughout my posts. Thanks!

Also so a lot times you will not see the product until you update and view the post....

You have to click on the Text Tab at the top of your post add the code ..then switch back to visual
...then you should see amazon product...
