Building My 2nd Website, And Hoping To Make First $1 Soon
It took me 2 years to start earning with my first website. I mean, earning because of applying a systematic process that work, and not earning by luck.
I spent months figuring out about niche. Is a niche profitable? Are there buyers? What products can I promote?. Ended up switching niche a couple of times.
I can't imagine the number of times that I wanted to call it quit.
While my first website is not a huge success, I've transformed it from one without a focus, traffic and earning potential to something different, thanks to the trainings at WA and other members.
Here's a quick glance on my first website.
- 10,000 organic traffic per month.
- 200 posts.
- No social media engagement, no back links, no advertising.
- $600++ monthly earning.
- Got 2-3 guest post request, afiiliate partnership, sponsored links, etc on a daily basis.
- 30% of affiliate pages on first page of Google, driving traffic, 30% still are on the way up, while the rest may crawl the rank in 6 months.
I think I've written almost everything possible without expanding the niche horizontally.
I believe I'm ready to take on a 2nd challenge, on a niche with higher priced products.
This time, I have game plan in hand.
- I have identified the 100 articles that I'm going to write.
- I don't have problems in identifying a niche
- I know the mistakes to avoid.
- I'm no longer attracted to shiny objects.
- I know the trainings at WA works.
I hope to do better the 2nd time.

I've been thinking lately that my chosen niche, while a personal passion of mine, lacks a convertible audience and should be changed. This post has pushed me further in that direction.

I used to be skeptical when Kyle said every niche can be profitable. Sometimes, you just need to tweak the approach slightly and sales start coming in.

That is awesome! Keep it up! I have one website and thinking about a 2cd but don't know if I should right now. I haven't made anything with this site yet but I do understand what it takes if I want it to succeed.
But I would also like to have a site to promote WA.

I personally will stick to one site until successful. I don't have the time to focus on more than one.
Once you have the winning strategy, you can create subsequent sites with ease.

You are right on target Kenny! I have been wondering if I should try another niche site as well now that I know what I am doing more and target higher priced products. I really need to get a little further along however. I don't make nearly as much as you yet! Congratulations!!!
