Does anyone know if posts or blogs on your profile no longer appear automatically on the activity dashboard or is this just a glitch?
Activity dashboard, blogs and posts not appearing?
Does anyone know if posts or blogs on your profile no longer appear automatically on the activity dashboard or is this just a glitch?
Thanks Vera. Thought it might be a glitch. The activity dashboard used to be full of blogs and posts now there doesn't appear to be many, and my last post from yesterday still hasn't appeared.

I have a bit of a problem.
I created a Wordpress website for my daughter and then purchased a domain and transferred the siterubix website to the domain.

Ken,
I am having the exact same issue...I LOVE wix and can't seem to get into any other platform (and believe me, I have tried...wix is the best!!!)
At any rate, can you give me any advise?
Wix is very good, and more flexible in many respects than Wordpress, at least in terms of page builders, if not coding.
If you come from Wix, with its very familiar MS drag and drop functionality, to Wordpress, it's a totally new structure to learn. And there is quite a steep learning curve with Wordpress, even with the page builder plugin/themes.
It's worth persevering with though, because you have 25 site slots here with premium, and that's a big saving in terms of what you'll pay to host 25 sites at Wix! So it's worth getting to grips with for that alone. No point spending more money at Wix when you can do it here for no extra cost.
You can't export Wix sites. You can move the domain, and maybe try and recreate all the same URLS you had on Wix - if you upgraded to "true" URLS with Wix last year... and even then they may not be strictly "transferable" just by recreating them.
I like Wix, I have a site there that's been there for years, and I wouldn't attempt to move it now. Anything new though, I create on Wordpress here. For someone with no experience of web design, I recommend Wix everytime, but as I say, Wordpress is worth the pain of learning in order to get the most out of your membership here - and I don't mean learn coding, just pick one good WP page builder and persevere with it.
I think Wix websites only work on the Wix platform. Encourage her to learn WordPress it's the most popular website platform.
As much as I know, WA hosts only Wordpress sites (but not 100% sure) Q4
As for Q1 - yes.
Q2: You can transfer it to WA.
Q3. Again, I am not 100% sure but in my opinion it should keep the indexing. But even if it does not, then if it will get quickly get the indexing back anyway.
Thanks for the quick reply back Egon. I am in a bit of a quandary at the moment what to do for the best.

Should be a glitch. Mine are there. Wait a little or report the problem. Good luck!
