Not following up will hurt your business
The Biggest Mistake Networkers Make!
First, let's define who you follow up with. I'm not talking about continuously
contacting friends and family who have told you they're not interested.
Follow up is done with people who have expressed interest in your product/
service or business. Many miss opportunities to grow their business by not
following up on legitimate prospects.
While you don’t want to hassle people, most prospects aren’t going to sign
up on the first call. Sometimes the timing isn’t right. Or maybe they need to
think about it or do their research.
You should Have a system for following up with prospects.
For example, after the presentation, if the person isn’t ready, make an
appointment to call back in a few days. If they are not interested, ask if you
can add them to your email list (be sure to send helpful information and tips,
not just “join me” emails).
Here is an important Hint...If people are adamant that they are not interested,
let it go!!!
They may come around once they see your success or maybe they never will.
But you don’t want to hurt your relationships by constantly trying to recruit
people who are not interested.
Follow up is a very vital part of your business, do not ignore it.

You are a real person Mike. That is a great quality.
Keep up the good work, you will be rewarded.
continued successes my friend,
Ken
That is such good advice Ken, had a friend once that was into Amway , which was very good , he just didn't get the idea that it isn't cool to keep promoting. Follow through yes, we just need to realise where the boundaries are.
Alexander,
Followup is intended for those who are interested.
To build the relationship, certainly not to annoy.
You are right we need to be respectful of people.

Ken, this is a great advice. Especially for shy folks like me, what you said really cleared me out on who to follow up and who not to. :)
Thanks for sharing!
