My site is about 2 month old. I am writing content daily, and promoting more affiliate links and basically just waiting to make my first sale.
I was wondering, if I have
If I had that money to spare, I'd think of trying PPC and scaling up or/and engaging more in social media. Yes investing in Jaxxy is good idea, although the WA free keyword tool good yet they are different in many ways. Just my thought.
Thanks guys...just so confusing since there are so many ways to go about this, and so many ways to burn your money too
This is a good question, tho. If I had 5K, I would probably invest it in my own personal development and training. 2 months is very early in your business to be investing into your tools, you need to grow yourself some more first.
What do others think?
Hi Keleb, I would make sure you have got your 'sales funnel' truly set up. When people land on your website do they have path to follow that will lead them to sign up to your e-mail list? What are you offering as an incentive for them to do that? What are you then offering via your e-mails? Remember that you need to build a relationship before you can sell to them. Once this is all set up then it would be ok to look at ppc ads or Joint Ventures with people with suitable email lists - writing a guest blog for someone else in your (or related) niche. Facebook ads may or may not be appropriate depending on your niche as might twitter, etc.
I would have to go along with Chris except for one thing. I would try some targeted ads on Facebook and maybe even Bing
In my opinion .. I would keep the money safe in your bank and just keep writing the content and following the tuition. I also have thought about this but did some research!
I found that people spending money trying to speed up the process actually make no more progress than people doing things here just with the price of the membership!
Maybe invest in a good Keyword tool such as Jaaxy yeah .. but again I have been using the Keyword tool here on WA and got good results!!!
Hope this helps :)
Chris
really? that's very interesting. I would definitely think hiring a good marketing firm would definitely boost me up. but I guess I gotta do some research!

Any of these recommended over each other?
I have used all of them as I don't feel that they are effective as they used to be. This is just my personal experience.
Pingler vs pingoat vs pingomatic?

Just wondering as I've seen Jay do this on one of his videos, but isn't this backlinking? I'm new to this and not sure. I also saw someone give this as an alternate recommenda
Thanks Steve, just wondering, is there a big difference between pingler and pingoat? Is it good to do both?
I learned about a service called Pingoat from one of Jay's videos. I always use that service for every new post I publish. I also immediately do the fetch & submit to index thing with Webmaster Tools.
My articles are indexed within 24 hours so I'm happy with the results.
Thanks Steve. You do fetch and submit for each post? Also, what are your exact practices after you hit publish? (If you have time to explain) Thanks
I ping (Pingoat) then Fetch followed by submit to index immediately after publishing every new post. It's something I don't even need to think about anymore. I automatically do both of those things.

I was just wondering, do we get emailed when we make a sale or do we have to check up on each of our affiliate programs constantly? Thanks
Hi Kaleb. Most times you need to do into your affiliate members area on the different programs you are signed up to. But in the early days I would concentrate on developing your website and getting all the pieces of the puzzle in order. If you happen to get a cheque through the mail or an increase in your Paypal account then that's a good bonus at this stage of the game.
It is different with each affiliate program. You may be able to go into your profile settings and request emails, but most don't email you and you have to check
All of the affiliate programmes I've joined so far don't email. Here at WA you get an email when someone clicks through your referral link.
No emails that I know of but AdSense can check from Google Analysis and your affiliates each has there own tracking as well. Hope this help you with your question. Blessings!
How do I know when I made a sale?
