Do you recognize this face?

Would you say that he could be my father?

I would like to celebrate him as my wisest teacher.

October 5th is World Teacher Day.

Google Doodle notes that this is so.

Let's celebrate in recognition of the contribution by teachers from all around the world.

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.” (Albert Einstein--genius IQ of 160).

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Who would you say was your Best Teacher ever?

Who is your Best Teacher of today?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

In addition to, my other greatest teacher was Princess Bonnie -- my beloved Golden Retriever of just about 10 years young. I felt she would be with me forever.

She taught me two of the most valuable universal life lessons possible:

"Total acceptance of All for All"

"Unconditional Love"

I still cry about her sometimes. She is missed. Sorely still.

Love. Love. Love.

Learn lots.

That's why we have Teachers.

Teachers come in all sizes and shapes.

Let's celebrate our Teacher friends while they are still with us.

Give them thanks.

Great teachers are there when you need them and everywhere if we only look for them

hi David --- yes, so true! ... thanks kindly for breezing through today ... enjoy a good one ... all the best .... :)

I love your posts!

*** wow, that's the best comment that anyone can ever receive! ...

appreciate your love of my posts! .... thank YOU! ... 🧡 ... ***

Actually perhaps you would not want the guy in the picture to be your father or teacher. Did you know that he and his wife gave the first child (girl) for adoption and all traces about the baby were lost? Later, this same person abandoned his wife with two kids to marry his close cousin.

hey hi Jovo --- good to know -- thanks so much for popping by in sharing some historical info.... all the best ... :)

And he stole all his ideas from Tesla...
Who disappeared in dubious circumstances

So, no
Not my teacher, nor example either

I guess this may disappoint you. Sorry if this is so.

Let's be fair here. I am a physicist myself and as far as I know he did not steal anything from Tesla. But related to Tesla, he sent him a card for 70th birthday which was formulated in such a way that can only be understood as an offense on purpose. This tells you what kind of low-level personality he was. So it is hard to relate such a behavior with great achievements which he did in physics. He moved human knowledge farther than anybody else.

But regarding the stealing, two facts. The famous e=mc^2 was published in a paper by an Italian Olinto de Pretto, so the idea was not by Einstein, it was well known. Yet everybody attributes this to the guy in the picture above.

There is more. In a publication by Ioffe, a Russian academic there is a paragraph where he writes that as a young scientist visiting Germany, he saw the famous manuscript of the guy in the picture above, submitted to Annals of Physics. The manuscript was on the tabledesk of the editor and it was with the author name Einstein Marity. Now Marity is the family name of his wife which is originally Serbian and the name is Marich so this Marity was transcription because her family was from the area which was a part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. So the real question is who worked on this paper which gave him glory later. Why would he add wife's name? On the other, there are letters he wrote to this same wife speaking about "our work".

There is much more to this. But again, let's be fair, there is nobody who could be compared to his achievements in science. What is really behind all this, well, this is not important for most of the people around as you realize from this blog as well.

You beat me to that comment. :)

He pattented Tesla.s Work

Ps
Do you believe they ever set foot on the moon?
I still don’t

Not sure which patent this is.

Fleeky my friend, Even after seeing all of the "evidence" that we didn't, I believe that we did. :) July 20, 1969, I sat there in front of that TV screen, Recently graduated HS, and saw him step foot on the moon.
And we have not been back since 1972 because we were told Not to come back.

Sonny

Uh... Which evidence?
I was a small kid

Saw the images
And found the camera very blurry
Compared to all the others

Made my own starship
It landed on earth

You can get there
But how do you come back?

Uh which patent?

The so-called "evidence" of how the moon landing was made in Hollywood.

... hey Jovo -- only where there is expectation is there disappointment ... in this case, there is neither ... so it's all ok!

... keep well ... :)

.... that's hilarious, Sonny! ... ".... told Not to come back (ever) ! "

lol .... chuckles .... was that ever recorded and then played somewhere? ....

Uh from patent to the moon
All manipulated indeed

So... Never believe what you see, unless it is with your own eyes

🤣

They played
Moonlight in the sun

... quite -- an astute observation, my dear Watson! ... as Sherlock would have said ... lol ... :)

The whole universe is music
If we start listening
And jump on notes
Planets are dancing

... yes, during a time as a younger person (in my teens), we were on a bus ride for a ski weekend ... and for the longest time during this ride in somewhat windy, snowy conditions .. I could see the huge fir trees swaying like they were dancing in rhythm and unison in movement -- and it gave me the most beautiful sense of grace and peacefulness ... nature that is ...

🥰🥰🤗

Did you two ladies, Keisha and Fleeky, not know that there is evidence/artifacts on the moon that at one time in our distant past there were huge, Domed structures(cities) on the moon? Towering at least 2 miles above the moon's surface?
The Moon-Mars Connection - Richard Hoagland. YouTube.

And I value you both as friends. :)

Sonny

I do not know, you mentioned it.

Just humor

My school principal in the 1st half of my high school was an amazing woman who helped me during my most difficult times adjusting to life in a boarding/ residential school. I wish I could speak with her now and say how grateful I am. She taught me so many things that helped shape the next ten years of my life thereafter.

hey hi Padma --- sounds like some nice memories of your school principal -- surely she's aware of her helpfulness to you ...

appreciation in kind is returned in some amazing ways which we understand very little of ...

thanks kindly for sharing with us today -- you're much appreciated, all the best ... cheerio ... :)

I had some great teachers that helped me excel in my final years at high school. I also had some nasty ones that obviously hated their jobs. Jim

"I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots."

It's interesting if not 'just my luck' that the one quote that stands apart for me, attributed to Albert Einstein, most probably was not by him. I like to think that he might have said it, as it sits with what I could imagine him saying.

I would also stand by something that was told to me many years ago, which I can personally attest to be true.

"The best way to learn, is to teach"

... here's one for you, Twack:

"What's the difference between genius and stupidity? ...

Genius has its limits.

How do you like that one? ...

Amazing the greatness of minds & intelligence.... :)

Great!
I have teacher in my family.
It's not an easy job and thanks to
them the world turns a little better.

Long Live Teachers!

Thanks kindly, Stanley, for cycling by in appreciation of all teachers around the world!

keep well, keep happy & smiling! ... 🚲 ... and of course, happy cycling! ... 🚲🚲🚲 ... !

Teachers and our pets are so precious.

Lily 😊

Yes, so right ON, Lily! ... so very special & precious, indeed!

... and you're a GEM, too! .. ⭐️💎⭐️ .. !

Teachers are special...

The best teachers I ever had were the leaders that I followed and learned from growing up in the military...I learned what to do, what not to do, and how to outperform them over time.

I tried to do better as a leader later so the next generation would do the same as I did and excel to even greater heights than I had managed to attain...

If it came down to a person or a few people, I would have to settle with a top ten, and even that would not cover the ones that are deserving of mention...

My mother and father would be at the top of the list, then would come some school teachers on that list, then some friends and acquaintances that taught me about real life and people...

In the military, there were some notable leaders too that would be on the list that stood out from the others I emulated...

These all had common threads of decency, respect for others, compassion, and a sincere interest in helping people be more than they thought they could be...

Of note too is that all these teachers came in a wide variety of skin colors, backgrounds, religious beliefs, and genders. It is what is within that counts...

Hail to all the teachers out there, they are the best - especially the ones that submit themselves to the rigors of a classroom and students year in and year out...

Cheers!
Dave : )
