I posted a page for comments and Google said I had no visitors that day. So how did they leave comments Google?

Then in Adsense it shows all these page impressions and ev

The discrepancy on raw search result count versus displayed results has long been known -- The 330 results which are displayed in full are the most relevant of the matches for the keywords. Anything after that is considered "similar results" and not worth being listed in full.

I just did a search on the term SEO. The were hundreds of millions of items in the raw count but only 290 displayed in full. There is a link in the message if you really want to see those items. (see below)

I should've realize others had seen this already. lol. I did some more investigating on my other site and the numbers are off there too. So I guess I will not worry about the numbers anymore. I will just worry about the dollars. :)

I'm not sure what might be causing your site visit numbers to be incorrect. I only wanted to point out the known raw/displayed discrepancy.

I wouldn't worry about being penalized for criticizing google. There are plenty of people doing that very vociferously already, probably far too many of them for google to concern itself with. Google even displays search results for its most vocal detractors.

I have my website set up as pages only. No blog posts. Is this the way to go? I see alot of video training that talks about blog posts on first page but not sure if that is bes

I was wondering the same thing. Also is there a way to copy a blog post into a page?

Katie, this is the best training on the difference on offer here

Thank you Kat. Going over to check that out now.

Well basically your pages on your website is relatively fixed. Once you have written and designed your web pages they are kind of done for the future and just need tweaking as you progress. It is blog posts where the activity happens on your website happens. As you get new ideas or new reviews or new pictures you want share you does this with blog posts. Webpages will attract people to your website but blog posts are what are really going to get traffic to your website. It is a lot easier than it sounds and can be fun. all the best Martin

That's what I was trying to say.^^

Thank you Martin. Makes sense. And I can create links to pages from the posts for more info or just have it linked to send to a related page.

I would create a mix, so add some blog posts to your page. That way, you show a rolling choice of topics to read, even if the information is not enough to crate a page on.
Does that make sense?

So have some writing that is blog only, but have pages for other things. How do I determine which to do which way? Still confused, sorry.

I actually read these responses backwards. I think I understand now. Still now sure though how I decide which way to go with it. Post or page?

If what you're writing is an independent topic, I would go with post, however, the best way I can help, is to have you look at my page.
Each "sub page" in the menu, is actually a post that I attached to the "parent" topic, in the menu page.

Thank you Nancy. I went through your site to see the setup. Very nice. Definitely going to make some changes.

I guess this is convenient for people to respond to a particular blog you have posted.

Hmm, so maybe have blog post on first page of something that I want people to see first that is going to keep them reading and possibly commenting? That may be a good plan. Peek their interest. Thank you!

Is there anyway to embed a video on my site or just the links?

This tutorial should help.

Anywhere else, I'd say view element, and copy/paste the code, but since the code is proprietary here, and therefore, you are unable to do that, I would follow Dan's advice.

I don't believe so, that being said, you can always take a screenshot of the video and link the image to the video
