Hello everyone. I'm not quite sure how I found myself here, other than an intense desire to give my children the life I never had. That, and the desire for money enough to buy more horses...

Speaking of, I have 3 passions in this world: my family, horses, and soap making. In the past few years, I have taught myself how to make various different skincare products, starting with soap-from scratch. Then I taught myself how to ride horseback. Next stop: business success.

I came from less than nothing: a childhood and early adulthood filled with the worst types of abuse, and now I want to prove to myself, my abusers, and the world that I am not a victim, but a survivor. Now, I'm a wife, mother, and soap maker extraordinaire. I can only improve from here.

Hello, NancyHernand and welcome to premium membership. I suggest you take your time and really get into the training. Read the copy, view the videos and then, do the work.

You already have a few websites, so now you can build on that success and help others to succeed. That is what WA is all about.

Congratulations Nancy,

You have made the best possible choice for your online marketing career and well on your way to success.
You have a chance to show your abusers that you are stronger than them and use your personal experiences to help others going through what you did. That's invaluable and makes you very special! I will be following your success and celebrating your mile stones.

Nancy, nice to hear from you. I look forward to getting to know you my new WA friend.

Two of your passions are mine too. I love horses. Many years ago, when I lived in Vancouver, I used to go to the Pacific National Exhibition. And why? To watch the heavy work horses in action. There was me - and there were all the much older men who used to work these horses. By the end of the day we were all teary. They looked so magnificent.

I worked on a quarter horse stud outside Vancouver and I worked as a ringer (cattle hand) in outback Australia. My back is a bit out so don't ride anymore but love watching them in action.

And I love hand made soap. I get all mine from the same maker every year at the Salamanca markets (a large one in Hobart). The soap is great and I like how she, the first time I was there, told me to keep all the ends and then rework them into more bars.

This lady also makes other products such as lip balm. And her most popular product is a cream for babies bottoms. In fact she is the loan supplier of this for one of the main hospitals in Hobart. Don't know if she sells overseas but I will ask her. If not I will see if I can get the recipe for you. (Don't hold your breath though as I rarely go to this market as I stock up by the year!)

Work hard, have some fun and don’t forget to ask questions.

A very nice boss once told me, ‘Helen, when you ask a silly question everyone else breathes a collective sigh of relief because they don’t have to!’ And that is so true. No question is silly so ask away. If I can’t help I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Now let us keep in touch.

Nancy, you know what I did try to ride the horse once and its scary but I love to do it again.

listen if there is somebody who would tell you that you can do it,it would be you, use your motivation your children and imagine how you could support them if you really do your best in all you do.

use those stories to come up into something that would be useful for others as well who encounter your problems, be an inspiration and continue pushing!

Thanks for Connecting!

Hi Louisa,

Great to meet you! I have actually gone through all of the certification courses, and am now on course 2 of the affiliate bootcamp. I have my site set up, registered, and have quite a bit of content on it. I could always use feedback on it, if you are willing to do so. The link is on the sidebar on my profile. Nancy, I see you are making some good progress through the Affiliate Bootcamp. Just wanted to pop by and see if you need a hand with anything?

I also wanted to mention the success rates of Bootcamp. Absolutely everyone that has taken action on all of the phases of Bootcamp has a business that is generating consistent income online. MANY of these folks are going to be at our super affiliate conference next year.

I want this to be you and I want you to succeed with your promotions. So, please promise me that if you ever need a hand or feel stuck as you move forward, that you will get in touch with me!

Trust me, I know things can be a little overwhelming sometimes and I don't want you feeling like that.

Anyways, just checking in. Get back at me if you need anything Nancy.

I have every intention of being at that conference, and becoming one of WA's top affiliates. I make start slowly, but I will make it to the top.
Thanks for all you do!

Hello Nancy. Since you've seen two different posts of mine on the religious site, I have a question. Is the one with the smaller print easier to read than the one with the bold print? I don't even know if you noticed, but two people have told me that the bold print is hard to read. Maybe you could look and see, and tell me.
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
Actually, they are right. The bold print distracts from the message, and you don't need it. The power of God's Word speaks for itself, and it will not return void. You publish His word, and God will draw the traffic for you.

Thank you. I have my horse website also with the same print. I should change them both to the finer print. I appreciate it.

No problem. I am glad to help!

Hi Nancy, thanks for following me. I sure hope you do well here. When I first started with horses, I had to find the cheapest ones around. Of course that meant that I bought some problem horses. But I learned from the experiences and eventually got better horses. What an adventure.
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
I got lucky. The person I bought my first horse from said she was nothing but trouble, but within a few days, I could put my kids on her, and 2 days after that, I was riding her. She had her moments, but she was a perfect horse. I turned her around for a quick $400 profit.

I think some people just don't have a way with animals. /that goes for dogs or horses or anything. My wife has a way with all animals it seems. Some of the best horse trainers really have a connection with the horses, and I'm sure they'd be like that with any animal.
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
I agree completely. If you can't connect with the animal on some level, you have no business working with them, whatever the animal may be. Horsemanship is a partnership first. You'll never make real progress until you build that partnership.
Reply
jimcarlsen65 Premium
That partnership is exactly what I stress on my website. Building a relationship with your horse. Maybe you could look over my site, I think you'd like. I know you've been there. You might even find some misspelled words, LOL.
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
Yes, and I will tell you about them. Lol. My friends call me a Grammar Nazi. I will take the time to read more of your articles, and definitely let you know what I think. Thanks for the discussion, it has been interesting.

Thank you Nancy. Everyone should learn to have discussions on their wrbsites. I would do good for our Google rankings I do believe.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
Thanks, Kyle, but I believe I have already found my niche: soap and candle making. The first part, I am passionate about, and the second part I am learning about.
Reply
Kyle Premium
Soap making or Candle making. Two completely different and HUGE niches. I would choose one or the other, you can always be involved in many down the road but when starting out you want to focus on just one niche.
Reply
NancyHernand Premium
Soap to start, I haven't added any candle making content to my page yet, and won't until I am comfortable enough to start my second website. First thing: stick to what ya know. You can always expand later.
Reply
Kyle Premium
Sure, sounds good and yeah, stick to what you know. You can absolutely be involved in many different niches down the road, but start off by focusing on just one.
