Five posts in a row

It has been a long time since I have been truly happy about blogging. Too often I spend my days lamenting the fact that I haven't written anything instead of spending that time actually writing!

For the past five days, I have literally forced myself to write a post. It is actually going a lot better than I thought it would. Last night I didn't get the post written until 11 p.m. because of a long workday.

I am still working for the newspaper...It's a good thing I am because when my spouse fell and got hurt we were down to just my income for several weeks. We are still playing catch up. This is not a complaint—it's just the way it is.

While my e-book sales are helping very slightly, I know that my true potential lies in my blogs. That is the place that the biggest reach and largest help are possible.

The only way to build my audience is to post—consistently. I'm not very good at it. I procrastinate. I come up with excuses. I dilly-dally. I piddle around. I get discombobulated on many occasions!

But I am making some changes in my life and consistently posting is one of them. The next step is to connect with an affiliate program. I want to connect with a better affiliate than the ones I have previously connected with. I am trying more health affiliates for this site.

I have actually felt very good about writing those five posts in a row. I want this feeling to continue. I will do what I can to make it continue. That means forcing myself to write.

Five posts in a row may not seem like much, but for me, it is huge!

Hope you all have a productive rest of the week!

Karin

Well done Karin. That's a great achievement.
I would like to make a small suggestion ... I hope it is useful to you...
If you figure out why you want to get something done, write bullet points on something that you can see regularly, it may help to keep you motivated. It works (not just for me). :-)

All that is good Karin your own pace. Hope your hubby is better

Karin, I really like your honesty, sometimes it’s a big step to admit to an audience that you are shirking, or , “dilly-dallying & piddling about” (I like the piddling about phrase.. 😉)
But you did put it out there and hopefully now you have put it out there you will take a more proactive stance and it or we will quiet the voices in your head.

In any event well done,. 👍👌

That's awesome encouragement Karin!
Keep going
