Another lesson completed
I am just loving the classes and training that I get under Premium Plus. I just completed another lesson in the core training for promotion of Wealthy Affiliate and I am feeling pretty good about that!
Still, there is so much to do. I have been steadily posting articles on my site, but I feel there is still so much to do. My slow going turtle wants to grow some wings and start flying!
It takes a lot of patience to not jump ahead and start adding affiliate links and the like. I have added a few links pointing back to WA where appropriate in my articles, but only in a couple so far.
I have been trying out more advertising ideas through the newspaper where I work. I have had a few people respond to them so far, but I am thinking what might really work is to host a free class for some of the senior citizens in my area. We have a large part of our population that are part of the impending "Silver Tsunami". In fact, by 2030 it is anticipated that 25% of the area I live in will be over 65 years old.
I am close friends with the woman who coordinates the services for senior citizens and I am pretty sure she would help me with this. Along with promotion on my Facebook page for the business and advertising in the newspaper, I truly believe we would have a good turnout!
Now to prepare myself for that! But I need to get through the training here first. I am hoping to get a few more lessons knocked out over the weekend.

Make sure that what you already have is stabilised.
Don't spread your skills too thinly. A thousand small steps will get you there.

It is difficult. I want and have wanted to write my websites as a living for so long, even before I joined Wealthy Affiliate in 2018 but it is difficult. The old saying, "Making a living is killing me," rings true so often. But I am determined and I believe that my efforts will pay off in the long run.

It always feels good to complete another segment of a project. it's true, though, that it never seems to end. There's always something else. At least with this endless stream of "to-dos" you know you are still alive. That's a really good thing.

I was thinking of in introductory class to affiliate marketing. Just showing them what it's all about and then offering more to them if they want to learn more. I think introducing them to Wealthy Affiliate is the best step I can take. And then offering to be there to help them along the way.
A few years ago my friend and I did about 5 classes to help people learn how to use their smartphones and tablets better. It was well worth the effort.
I think offering this to them would be a godsend to some of the seniors (they like to be called "seniors" not "senior citizens" at least around here! I get it, I'll be in their ranks soon enough!).
I think any one of us could do this sort of thing. People are looking for solutions and I think we can offer them a great one!
