How can you stop or remove the Main Title of your website from showing up in the meta description of each page/post? It is causing extremely long Page/Post title descriptions?
I have a question about main title of site?
How can you stop or remove the Main Title of your website from showing up in the meta description of each page/post? It is causing extremely long Page/Post title descriptions?
I know it can be removed but that will interfere with the SEO of the site? Right? I just don't want it showing up as part of my page description when someone comes across it in the search engine
It is also adding extra length to my page and post titles which is causing me to go way beyond the recommended length.
Cannot answer. I know for sure that some have removed it and claim there are no negative effects. Kyle did not do it in lessons.
See it this way.
1. If it is too long then perhaps Google will cut off what is long, but they can also replace it with something else (they do it in general, their policy).
2. There were rumors recently that Title box is going to be bigger. So why to make title shorter.

I have added a snippet of the way my All In One SEO has set up my robot.txt file . IS THIS CORRECT?? Because google webmasters says its an error. Says " Invalid Sitemap URL det
Could there be a reason why a snippet would be rejected?
Or is this another case of Google being "hard to get"?
The sitemap tag in the robot.txt file should read
Sitemap: http://www.example.com/sitemap.xml
Maybe I am missing it but I cant see a snippet attached.

So tell me if I am correct please? You can NOT attach your affiliate link to a youtube video you want to post, BUT you can send them to a page or post on your website to have
Actually I plan on using the youtube and vimeo platforms alot, so I am trying to get my ducks in a row so I don't get in trouble.
Here is a link to one of Loes's videos on youtube. You can check out how she did it. You will have to take the spaces out of url. The system won't allow some extensions

I always seen a link that direct people to a different page like a affiliate or website in the description area..
So they are using their affiliate links to direct someone to the vendor directly from their video on youtube? From my understanding youtube doesn't allow you to put an affiliate link on your video but you can direct them to a page on your website to have them click on your affiliate link?! I really don't know, that's why I am asking?

Hey guys, can you make it so the name of your website or Header Title cant be clicked on? So it won't take you anywhere, it will be just a text title with no other element?? <
Hi, There is a way that you can take the hyperlink out of the header but you have to go into the editor under appearance and take the code out. It would be in the header.php file and some themes give you access and some don't. You could ask the same question at wordpress.org. Have a great day. Joe
The header/ title should be clickable and direct your visitors to your homepage/ blogroll
That's my 2 cents

This can be removed in AIO, General Settings.
