My Secret for Getting Authorities in my Niche to Notice Me and Interact with Me!
I believe that relationships are extremely important in everything you do, and especially important in your online business.
I am going to share a method that I use to get the big shots in my industry to notice me and also to like and share my stuff with their thousands of social media followers.
It is a combination of content curation and outreach.
I am going to use my latest post as an example, and I am going to to share the URL with you at the risk of some people saying it is spam, because I think it is important for you to see the post in order to understand how to do this.

Before you go over there, let me explain how I created the post and the impact that it is having.
Here's what I did...
- Make a list of 100 of the top influencers in my niche.
- Follow each of them on twitter, and connect on Facebook if possible.
- Reach out to those that I have a connection with asking for a quote for the article.
- For those that I don't have a connection with, I researched their websites to come up with a really good quote.
- Once I had the 100 influencers and their quotes, I wrote the article with and intro and a conclusion.
- I published the article and began to reach out to each influencer to let them know that they were featured.
This resulted in a huge amount of social interaction as the influencers shared my post with their followers on all of their social media outlets.
Some even linked back to the article from their blogs!
Some left comments on the article.
Traffic to the post soared!
Some influencers that I would have almost zero chance of noticing me, answered my tweets!
Like Jeff Walker!
I tweeted 100 Quotes from the World's Top Internet Marketers @jeffwalker is number 5!
Along with the link to the article.
He not only liked the tweet...
He responded!
I've also had comments on the post from industry giants like Zac Johnson and Enstine Muki!
Keep in mind, I only published this this morning and have only reached out to 25 of the 100 people on the list.
I am so excited about how well this post is doing that I wanted to share the method with all of you!

I will definitely be thinking now of a way that I can ask influencers in my niche to participate in a post.
I also just heard in a recent webinar that Twitter can sometimes be the easiest way to actually contact people that you haven't spoken with before. Most of the other platforms are closed, as in, you actually need to know or already be friends with someone to send them direct messages and have those messages actually be noticed. But on Twitter, you can tweet at anybody and most people will read it.
I can vouch for Twitter being the easiest way to contact people.
I followed Harsh Agrawal, who is the brains behind ShoutMeLouddotcom. He is a very successful and influential blogger.
When I followed him, I received what I thought was an automated message that said thanks for the follow and here is an offer for half off my book.
